Wow that took too long. My work ethics suck!
So a guy contacted me and asked if I could draw a finalised artwork
for this manga card. I had never heard of it before, but I really like the Compulsory cards and this one definatly looks like it can become a real card (But I think it should be a normal trap like the rest of them).
But anyway. I've never really done something like this before but I had to try. And I really learned alot of new effects.

In terms of changes. He said I could take any artistic liberty, specially regarding colours (as the manga is in black and white). The biggest change I made was the right side of the base. Mostly because I had a really hard time to understand how the original looked. Like its a flat surface on a cylinder? And the black and white makes it really hard to see. So I decided to make it part of the base cylinder instead.
Also, because I'm a whore for symmerty, I moved the right tube more to the center, cause I felt that it was too close to the edge before.
And I changed the box to the left to one with a rounded top because why the fuck not.

As for the colour, I looked at the other Compulsory cards and noticed that they all have kinda different colour schemes. Like Evacuation has red colours (excluding the sky ofcourse), Escape has a yellow theme and Recoil is clearly blue. So I wanted this one to have a green theme to it... But that only really came out on the tubes of green goo...
For the Exit sign I was thinking to have it read Abort or something else, but since the original had Exit clearly written I kept it the same. But I flipped the colours (red text on green instead of green text on red) to differenciate it from Evac.
And as for the bakgrund, I went for a space one! Not only because this is the sixth time I've done one and I'm getting exceedingly efficient at it, but mostly because nearly every Xyz Monster have some relation to space. Or moreso the entire mechanic. So think of it as kinda "send you back where you came from". And I gave the burst a red tint because blue would have blended with the space too much.
Lastly I gave the device some goo leak and rust to make it look more dynamic looking.

Please tell me what you think. I'm terrible with shading but I think I got it alteast passable. Hope you guys like it.
