I finally have a basic rendition of them in color, and can avoid giving out those horrid scrap sketches of them!
Erebh exhibiting a rare moment of mild amusement for his sister. The two of them are very much a part of each others lives, as they are from the same lab and carry the same cheetah genetics. He's quite literally a brother from another mother.
I imagine that Chasca is probably trying to retell him some story of one of his kills in her typical enthusiastic fashion... or perhaps trying to goad him into a little romp through a populated city for their combined amusement.
Being that he is more of a brute and she is more of a mastermind, this fits them very very well... and guess what...
redbuzzardd did it all!!!!
I give my heartfelt thanks to her beautiful talent and her very tolerant nature!

Hi there! I'm a watcher of Redbuzzardd and when I saw this lovely picture come up, I thought I would pop on over and give my compliments to the designer.
I love the black bands above the white feet on... Chasca, I believe. And the idea of jackal/king cheetah hybrids is quite interesting. I have a white lion/cheetah hybrid that is quite fascinating. To me anyway.
If you don't mind I think I will be taking a stroll through your gallery now.

haha its a coyote/cheetah hybrid i thought up when i decided i wanted to merge my two favorite critters. to be honest, she gave them live I couldnt. I cant draw as well as i would like, so her talents gave them their final shape.
Chasca is more yote, Erebh is more cheetah. they share the same cheetah dna, but have different mothers...

My apologies. Being part cheetah my mind automatically assumed Africa, therefore jackal. I love coyotes. Whenever I take my dog hiking I can hear their chatter.
I would definitely recommend studying pictures of animals you wish to draw. I learned to draw by taking pictures of animals and tracing them (None are uploaded for that reason.) After a while I learned to take those photos are draw my own guidelines in them, then draw it without the picture. Now, most days, I can draw anything from my mind's eye. But I still have to look up refs once in a while for a particularly challenging pose. (Which isn't often. I'm particularly lazy and I'm more often content with the boring and jejune.)
You're humanoids are pretty great! Mine always look like bad marshmallows. And I thought you're gallery was quite good. And if you get to writing or comic-stripping anything on Chasca and Erebh, I would be most interested in reading. I'm a roleplayer myself and I am always interested in learning more about other characters.

haha i dont know if i have the balls to try and recreate them in a comic, but writing might happen in the future... far far future. haha. thanks so much for the advice and ideas! ill look into improving enough that i might make a small strip or something!
