Benji's magic in rather complex at a first glance, but simple once you understand it. He uses the powers of one's chakras to give himself buffs in battle. He can only apply these buffs to himself (for now). He can only activate one chakra at a time, and when he does his eye color changes to the corresponding chakra.

Activating one buff leaves him vulnerable in all other places

Crown [purple] = Clears his mind / gives him ultimate focus
Third Eye [dark blue] = Heightens his senses and awareness [ex: nose of a bloodhound, eyes of an eagle, etc]
Throat [light blue] = Makes his steps silent / Increased stealth
Heart [green] = Heals flesh wounds
Solar Plexus [yellow] = Makes him physically stronger
Sacral [orange] = Increases his movement speed
Root [red] = Makes him tankier / capable of withstanding a powerful blow

On the surface, Benji is a great guy. He’s very much a people-pleaser. He tries his best to be kind, and humble. He will love anything you do for him; He is very appreciative of the things he has in his life. His attitude is always bright and sunny, wishing to uplift others, and make them smile as much as he can. Benji has few hobbies, because most of them become more than that. He is very passionate, and when he finds something he is interested in, he will put his all into it. When someone is showing signs of having problems, he tends to overstep a little, wanting so desperately to help, he steps on their toes. He will never boast about his achievements, in fact, he is rather quick to evaluate himself. Even if he did an outstanding feat, he will replay that scenario in his mind, and point out everything he could have done better, where he could have been faster, smarter, etc. In his eyes, he is not good enough. He never will be. Due to his giving nature, Benji is easily taken advantage of. Although he is not blind to it, he simply accepts it. He would rather spend his time pleasing others, and making them happy- even if it is to his own detriment. He will rarely say no, and is quick to act. His reflexes are very physical, and he doesn't often take the time to consider the consequences.

History:

Benji was once a plush beloved by a young boy. His father was a Kendōka, and his mother a seamstress. When the boy was born, his mother had made this plush to celebrate his birth. It stuck with him every day, even when he was old enough to begin school, he brought his little plush into his backpack with him. He'd dream of a world where his plush, Benji, was a great warrior- and he was his sidekick. They'd travel the world and fight crime like in the shows on tv.

Unfortunately, this dream didn't last long... When the boy was in second grade, only 8 years old... His house would catch on fire. The oven sparked while his mother was cooking dinner, and he was napping. It had been so sudden, and the fire spread so quickly, that no one made it out alive that day. Though the plush was scuffed... It was still intact.

He was made into a clockheart, though his body was built to reflect the damage it had been dealt as a toy. Burns cover his body in uneven patches, and he's lost all sense of touch on those places.

He decided to join Saint Spell in hopes of becoming the great warrior his owner had dreamed he was.
