ยDecades of hard work, fighting in WW2, cultivating the land, raising children and feeding the family. And what is left behind? A jacket hanging in a home that once used to be. Now waiting for the nature to finally take over and bury it. Roof giving up, walls decaying, floors collapsed already. Slowly but surely everything will be gone. Gone to the distant land of far away memories. They say that a man is alive as long as the last person who remembers him. I still remember.

I knew his as a child knows the man from the neighbour.
He would be 100 years old next June.
