"Oh, a huntress, how exciting!" Taras said wistfully, glancing up at the forest canopy above them. Without much thinking the silvery male began to speak. "Where I come from, they had a tale of a pair of siblings born from a scorned she-wolf, a sister and brother. From the very day they were born it seemed that hunting was in their blood, they were tested when a serpent came for their mother soon after their birth. With their combined efforts they were able to slay it, saving their mother." As the two continued to stray further from the main dens, Taras' step remained light and cheerful. The breeze rolled through the trees, shaking the branches gently as it passed. Taras continued to speak as a particularly large gust of wind began to die down,"The gods were not happy with this, wanting their mother to suffer. So, they continued to send down creatures of all shapes and sizes to try and take her, but each one was taken care of by the siblings. As they grew, their abilities did as well, the sister was able to speak with, and eventually control, all of the animals within the forest... As for the brother, he was gifted with the art of prophecy and and a howl so melodious it was said to tempt the prey right into the open..."

Dappled rays of sunlight glared into Taras' emerald eyes, he squinted blearily for a moment before growing a bit bashful, realizing he had been going on for quite some time. "Ah, of course that's all lore of course, if you ask me." He quickly added, hoping the she-wolf wouldn't take him for a fool. "Anyhow, the point of such a tale, I think, was that life's adversities can set one up for success. I'm sure you will do well in your Courser studies." A smile overtook his face as he fell in step beside her.

Seven pricked her ears sharply as the male continued to speak, delving into the rich history of his pack's ancient beliefs. The female was surprised at how engaging the story was, and she found that she was listening intently the whole time, intrigued by the thought and strength in the tale. How fascinating....Aryn of course, had their own beliefs regarding the great spirits that protected them, but to here of another? It was truly interesting to her. She chuckled as he cast an embarrassed look in her direction, and she smiled at him, hoping to hint that she was far from bored with his tale.

"Thank you Taras, I find that very encouraging" she barked truthfully, her blue eyes glimmering happily as she turned her gaze back onto the path ahead. She remained focused on the trail when the silver male asked her further questions. Her paws were taking her to the Lonely Apple Tree, a reasonable walk from the main den, but a truly magnificent place to explore.

Seven is giving Taras a tour of Aryn and giving him the low-down on the tasks, and Taras yet again manages to turn everything into story time.
