Clearly I need to draw characters physically interacting with one another more often because this was difficult and I'm still not entirely happy with how the pose turned out. I am pretty happy with the colors, so that's at least something. Oh well. Have some flagrantly shippy Five/Nyssa art!Illustration for another excellent fic written by a friend of mine: Before and After (warning: M rated fic).

So what if Nyssa's wearing a sweater and slacks? I like it when folks give their own idea about what Nyssa or Tegan wears rather than going the "canonical" costumes. I believe the word for it is creativity.

Nyssa's non-canonical outfit in this piece comes from the fic it's illustrating, where she borrows an old sweater from Barbara because her own clothes were dirty after a rather harrowing adventure in The Five Companions . She then proceeds to fall asleep on the Doctor's should and then... well you can read it for yourself.

While I know of the audios, I have never bought any. I am a fan of Doctor Who in general and Nyssa in particular and I truly enjoy the artwork here at DA. Unfortunately, I can't sketch or draw worth a damn. Still, if I had the ability, I would put my subjects in outfits of my own devising.
