And I always figured that's a good FredxNox song. Course, it's kind of bittersweet I guess, Nox being alive and Fred being...well, not. XD Who says a relationship can't work if one party just happens to six feet under? I'm a firm believer in long distance relationships!

Nox is my original character - a Muggle detective in a post Deathly Hallows Harry Potter fanfiction I am writing. The story focuses on folklore/murder mystery more than romance however, so in order to make up for the very gradual Fred/Nox romance I draw a lot of fanart of them together to keep everyone (including myself) happy. XD People have also been very kind in drawing gift art.

Haha, I wish! I write the fic as a sequel to the HP series, so sadly I'm sticking to book canon. Fred appears in the story as a ghost. The reason for his "staying behind" is a big part of the story's mystery plot.

For me it looks like they've decided "hey, let's have sex!" then quickly discovers Fred's state make all of it kinda hard and no matter how much Nox wants his touch to be warm and loving, it's cold and ghostly.
Looks like Fred's angry at himself for it and Nox is sad because she knows there isn't anything they can help.

I love your artwork and your Twin Vice story. This particular picture is just amazing. Paired with the song lyrics it's just kind of ironic. Falling in love is supposed to be a great thing, but when it involves Nox and Fred, it's just....not quite there yet.

This is absolutely amazing! I love the black and white effect. I dunno, something about this, I can almost feel the emotion seeping off the picture and into my head; it's way to strong to even describe. The pent-up angst is perfect; it reminds me of a paused scene from a movie, like you're waiting for something HUGE to happen and just savoring the few tense moments before it does. Wow, just WOW!
