Such brave little things to appear when it is so cold. My snowdrops don't have to put up with that

So you have snowsrops in your garden too?! I've been to a snowdrop festival and they had so many different ones!!!! I didn't know they had so many species!!
Even huge ones (about 3 centimeters).

When will it be snowdrip-time in Australia?

Sometime during the winter months I think.

Of course, but when will the winter start? Maybe June or July?

Winter here is June, July & August. I can't remember exactly when the snowdrops pop up, but I will let you know.

Would love to see the Australian snowdrops!
Last week I visited the Botanical Garden in Utrecht, and they had huge snowdrops! (height: about 40 cm!!) Took some pictures of them and will add them soon.
Today we had a wonderful sunny spring day! (a bit too much wind)
We had coffee in the garden. I bought myself a very funny wooden chair for in the garden! Nice and comfortable. And I hope I will be able to spend a lot of time in it this spring and summer!
I intend to change my garden a bit (more tropical plants).

Yes! They do look quite at home in the snow, kind of blend in. The snow looks so soft and powdery!

I loved snowdrops since I was a kid! They look so fragile, especially in the snow.
