So the most common question I've gotten about the comic is "Where is Lapis?" which is a legit question. And here it is, she's off in the ocean. Whether she's chasing after a gem monster or just enjoying freedom you can choose for yourselves
Man that first background took foreeever. But next time, we're getting back to the arena. And Garnet. And Jasper.

While I don't mind Lapidot, in this case all I mean is that Peridot is worried that Jasper is about to do something stupid and wishes Lapis was there in case they need help stopping Jasper, since Garnet is probably not up to the task at the moment. At the same time Peridot wants to trust Jasper and not worry Steven, so she's trying to be subtle about it.
