Looks like somebody's in a Mewtwo mood! I made him look too shiny by accident, which is why I added the water. I don't know who he's fighting, but do know where he's fighting: the ocean!
By the way, he's repelling a Hydro Pump, not actually using it himself.I'll leave it up to you to decide the opponent. Maybe a water type or some other pokemon that can use water moves.
EDIT: Geez! I didn't think this would be my next most popular deviation!

Pretty good. Water is a bit too foamy, and unfortunately your perspective makes for the appearance with Mewtwo looking like he's using Hydro Pump instead of some opposition. It happens, and there is not really much you can do with that other have have more water sloughing off from the area where Barrier meets the end of the attack. Anyway, like the colors of your shading, and the dynamic pose.
