Description I don't say it often, but I say it now: I rock!
Got inspired during a walk recently. I love mossy rocks, waterfalls and frozen water.Trying to mimic those mossy pebbles with water running over and frozen on them, slowly melting as spring approaches.

All glass. Swirled, shaped, frosted. About an inch across.
And I was quite proud/terrified (proudified?) when I managed to lose them on the gravel surface where I took the photos, more than once..

Had a hard time to convince some of my coworkers it was glass. And I made it. And no, I didn't glue stuff to a pebble.

The pendant got a hole running through it at the top, made to be worn on a leather strap or a chain.
Ahh.. the inspiration brought by spring..

Thank you so much! Yes, all glass, the bass to become the pebble rolled in baking soda to get a pitted look, then sculpted into shape while still hot and bubble gum-soft, then some moss base, the clear and pale blue glass, some more moss, then annealing over 8 hours.
Cleaning, frosting the moss to a fine sheen, checking the ends of the holes so they are smooth and another clean on the inside with a diamond reamer. I had so much fun, spent a lot of my time gathering/hoarding pebbles from all over the world and admiring them. and now I can make my own! <3

Nothing is so satisfying in my craft as when I manage to mimic objects of nature I find beautiful. Nature is an amazing muse
