Now here comes the obvious question: Is it a he or a she? I know you tend to draw rather...endowed women, so that makes me want to say it's a he. You also draw effeminate-looking males from time to time. And now that I think about it, the religious thematic makes one wonder if this is a sort of a statement about the fact that women can't become popes...popettes...whatever.
However, very nice job with the details, as always. Your style is amazingly detailed.

wow, just totally amazing. love the details in her clothing and the background.
one minor thing though: her hair looks kinda stiff in comparison to her dress, and I know you may have done that intentionally but it just looks odd to me.
Still you've yet to lose your touch at turning out amazing art.

Another homer, man. Knocked outta the park.
First off, she definitely has great patterns going on there. This is just too cool. I love all the intricate designs. They just look really great without taking away from her as a whole. But they start to stretch out a little as they droop away from her body. I understand a little is necessary, but it looks somewhat extreme in places. Like the very bottom left piece of drapery looks very stretched out and larger than the other pieces of similar pattern.
The floating ornate structure behind her looks quite exquisite. It really looks like a lot of time went into its design. I just wish it and her were more turned towards the viewer so we could see it with more clarity.
I do like how her hair balances out with the intricacy of her clothes, yet blends in with the overall design of being long and flowing. You don't want a character getting busy, so this balance is great.
I haven't been on DA for a week, so this is something so pleasing to come back to. I love it man!

Hate to give you yet another comment to wade through, but I can't help it. Beyond the amazing complexity of the designs you've created, I really like the colors you chose for the shading of the gold. The overall color scheme is very nice, as well. And, as if all that wasn't enough, you even took the time to detail the background's arches. Thank you for sharing this with us
