the concerns with this comic project is that i need to promote myself further more, on DA and other places. so i cant dedicate all my time into drawing a comic yet. it takes alot of time, as you can imagine...

I guess I could say that I love this cause of loving how purple he is, and how consistant the lighting is... and also, that the background isn't obtrusive. That it provides soemthing to the background, but doesn't distract all that much....

OK, everything you've posted on deviantart is simply amazing, first off. Every piece makes my jaw drop. O.o Been watching for a while, must say this purple demon is quite the hotty! Can he "guard" my room for a night? ^_~ Oh and I just noticed the spade, diamond, club, heart, and male symbols on his back spikeys...I love how I can keep finding things like that upon further inspection of your work! I agree with what was said before about the need to extend the spikes for balance. Still beautiful to look at though.
BTW, ever illustrated or thought of illustrating an RPG book? Because you'd be the first artist I'd think of if I were an RPG company looking for an illustrator.

Love the way those wings are drooped down like that. I love his hair and horns and he has a great body structure. Are those metal like-things on his spine -part- of him? or is it just another way of showing how he's 'chained to his duties'? I really like the background design... But the color and intensity does add a little -too- much purple to the piece. Still... Wonderful work.

Nah, not a matter of lazy. Could you imagine the wrist pain? something like that alone would give a person tendonitus. I think only a *really* crazy bastage would actually do that all by hand. XD

ehhh...I don't really think it's up to your usual standard, personally (which I admit is pretty damn high). The figure's great, but the chain/claw thanger on the end of the arm is kind of confusing, and the composition is WAY overbalanced towards the right side...I would extend those things sticking out of his back a LOT to balance that out. Seems a little too purple for me too, though that's been said. Details are amazing...but the overall is lacking, I think.
