The composition is quite impressive because the way you put the elemnts together and played with the light tends to speks a story by itself. It has a melancholic mood in it, I'm particularly impressed by your work on light which enhances and features the sadness of a mere weapon's fate

Β This painting, though, has a drama to it; a dynamic of light, color, and composition, that is a fantastic example of a story-telling image. I love stuff like this. Even as a kid I was so enamored with the idea of finding an ancient lost sword in the woods, covered in ivy and rust. Of course, the chance of that happening in the US is pretty slim. XD But a kid can dream!
