The overwhelming detail of your pieces has never been proven better. I think I could attempt to count the scale thingies but I would go dizzy in seconds! Gorgeous, gorgeous wings and the detail of the daggers hanging is bloody brilliant! Also, the face, all squished like that, looks perfect!

I think the lack of a defined head makes it a bit less believable... However, I like everything else about it. Especially the shiny plating.

I don't say this often (or at all, for that matter), but OMFG. Jeezuz the detail is incredible. I've seen pictures with meticulous detail, but in addition you shade every single little plate of armour no matter the size, which is part of what makes this so oustanding. Whenever I try to make details like scales on a creature, I often lose sight of the whole pic, becoming too concentrated on the little details, and usually the scales come out looking strange, maybe not fitting the form well or being crooked because I was just thinking about the details and not about how they fit into the whole. You, however, keep sight of the creature in the process of creating the details, so they fit together so flawlessly my jaw hit the floor when I saw this. The concept is awesome too. I love how the head is so small in comparison to the body, but all those fangs and the enormous, ornate horn just fascinates me. Though my favorite is the skulls hanging off its tail, like so many trophies or ornaments.
