My original idea was to have the interior room copy a beach scene outside the window...

The swirled blanket was supposed to be blue like a wave and the floor/bed colored like sand.

But It got too messy/random looking. So I ditched all of that and made a simple ocean view and focused on the

contrast of the colors. All in all, I really like how this came out!
