"WAR, in his attempt to find those responsible for starting Armageddon before schedule, he somehow finds himself protecting the remnants of the human population, becoming some what of a hero or rather savior, even though he is one of the four horsemen, he found in him compassion thus continuing the fight to save whatever remains of human civilization.Thus the end would rather be just a new beginning for all of humanity and those that inhabit this earth."
Most of what I've seen so far did a lot of "end of the world" scenes, i just thought I'd use WAR and some of the characters or monsters I've seen on a few screen caps to interpret the whole "last days" thing in my own way. I did not have time to color this nor add some gray tones or anything, just pure pencils and a little photoshop for the sepia photo look and the scratches too, even so, i had a lot of fun joining contests, even though my entries never made it to the top 25.

This is wonderful. I love the scene. It's a great design and well drawn with lovely little details in the sword and dust and destruction.
I feel the ground along the bottom of the image doesn't quite match up to the quality of the rest of the image, but overall this picture is a pleasure to view

not really sir, just several hours. maybe around 8 to 10 or 12 hours i think with a lot pausing to stretch my back. didn't really time myself. i did this a day before the contest' deadline, i kinda rushed it.
didn't make it to the semi-finals.
