Description Took the train to the coast today and spent an hour photographing birds. It was quite enjoyable.

I really like how it's wing is extended like it's in mid flight(and it probably was, neh? ) and the way it's slightly off-centered makes it look even cooler somehow...Nice one!

I like the simplicity of it, a lot actually. The beauty of the bird dazzles me, even though it's not even bright and colourful like the term "beautiful bird" is usually understood.

Yes, the lack of shadows could be it. I don't know honestly.

:devmedamelana: is right, it looks flat and I think it's because the bird doesnt appear to hve much of sense of value anywhere on it's body, there's no shadows...at all. It is a pretty shot though.

I like the crop though, it;s just the tones aren't varied enough
