Description
Took the train to the coast today and spent an hour photographing birds. It was quite enjoyable.
Equipment: EOS-1D, EF 300mm f/2.8L IS

I like the simplicity of it, a lot actually. The beauty of the bird dazzles me, even though it's not even bright and colourful like the term "beautiful bird" is usually understood.

:devmedamelana: is right, it looks flat and I think it's because the bird doesnt appear to hve much of sense of value anywhere on it's body, there's no shadows...at all. It is a pretty shot though.
