Cool. I actually stopped playing Pokemon not too far into Black and White, so Snivy was basically my last starter.

I agree. I would have used printer paper or a sketch book, but I was in a class, so I had to make do with what I had on me at the time.

why did you stopped playing? IMO X/Y are bad games but OR/AS is amazing and so is Sun/Moon

I started playing Pokemon with Emerald and then played Diamond and Fire Red. At this point, I've played enough of the main line of Pokemon games to feel I don't need to play anymore unless they make some huge changes to it, because they're all very similar. I will give them credit for the changes they have made so far, but I really want to them to take greater risks when they make new installments to the franchise.

I would love to play a new Pokemon game, but I'm not interested in buying a game that's so similar to all the other Pokemon games that I feel there's nothing significantly exciting to see besides the new Pokemon designs. And I don't actually have to play to experience that.

good point. Yeah, if you're looking for innovation, you won't surely find it in a main pokΓ©mon game.

Sun/Moon may be the least similar to the last ones

So I've heard. And that's good, but they've still got a long way to go.

My brother does own a copy, though, so maybe I'll play it someday, just to see.
