During the three days of Albert's and Franz's adventures on the carnival, Albert becomes engaged in an elaborate flirtation with a beautiful woman who turns out to be Luigi Vampa's mistress, Teresa. The bandit chief kidnaps Albert, and Franz receives a message from one of the bandits that Albert has left to live until dawn, unless Franz did pays the bandits a huge amount of money, which he did not have. In a panic, not knowing what to do, Franz runs to Count Monte Cristo to the hotel, where two friends stopped, in order to beg him for help.

If it was for me, I would put something else in the background, enriching it a lil' bit (it's quite bare - at least for my taste - especially after such huge event like the Rome's Carnival, of which maybe around should be still remain what was left of this big party and its celebration?), but I think it's a detail that can be ignored because in this way the focus of the viewer would concentrate entirely on what is going on between the two characters protagonists of the drawing.
What I liked the most is how you did Franz's expression, you can totally see through his face all the feelings that exploded inside him after he saw what the griffon has on his paw: shock, fear and concern for his friend. The only view and recognition of Albèrt's necklace, shown to him as a warning to make him get the bandits aren't joking at all, with the consequent realization the other is in serious danger, is enough to unleash such intense emotions.
Franz cares so much about his friend and this is beautiful :')
