BECAUSE SCIENCE! (and speedpainting helps me break frustration.)HOLY COW GUYS. :'D I was just derping on photoshop because i was getting frustrated with other crap i was practicing and all of a sudden this vomited out.
This is Transformers Armada Red Alert, for those of you who don't know. He's my absolute favorite transformer of all time. Just imagine G1 Red, and think of his exact opposite. Calm, logical, intelligent, and not clingy. He's uber good at science and medicine too.
He kinda looks like he's standing in the rain in this, didn't necessarily try for that, was going more for a glowy feel but this works too.
:'D can i just say i'm super happy with this? Like REALLY happy? It seems he's all i can draw though... oh well.

XD He seems a lot nicer than Ratchet lol XD I don't think he's beaten anyone senseless with a wrench. Ooh, i'm not into toy collection, but a Red Alert Toy would be sweet for referencing!!!

you are totally right in that XDD and I think Red Alert makes others respect him. I don't know if you remember that episode when starscream was with the autobots and got hurt and Red Alert wanted to fix him, but only with his presence Red Alert stopped Starscream from complaining, so I think he don't need to get mad like Ratchet and run for all the base with a wrench trying to catch the others to fix them
and about the toy, you are right, they are very nice references, so if you want some special view or something that I could do in a photo only tell me, because I love to take photos to my transformers toys

haha no problem XD and well I remember that part because was only a little dialog but I loved how Red Alert talked to starscream and him immediately stoped to complain XD sadly that's the only thing, but sure in our imagination would be so cool to see Red Alert fixing Starscream to see if they talk each other or if Starscream let him works normally or made more problems XD
and again don't worry about that, you only tell me and I can take the photos. Even now I remember some photos I had in my old gallery that I didn't posted here that could be great for you to see; if I can find where I have those photos saved I'm going to try to post them for you because I did a very great effect on the photo, playing with the translucent plastic that Red Alert toy has on his visor

XD pooor pooooor emoscream. Pff, seeing Red Alert talk to Starscream would be awesome, Red Alert seems like the kinda person Starscream could spill his guts to.

haha! XD yeah, I think that Starscream's ego could calm down with Red Alert around XDDD even I've done some comics with photos about that, maybe I think I have to search where I saved those ones to upload them here too XDDD
and yes, with Red Alert toy is cool to make that visor look shiny like if he where really alive, that's why I like that kind of toys with translucent plastic
I have Cybertron Thundercracker toy and he too has that plastic on his eyes, and same for cybertron hotshot and movie jazz and rotf sideswipe

oh, RID is Robots In Disguise, it is the series that was created before Armada, and it's a relly cool series with interesting characters

there are a lot of transformers series, but me too, I still didn't watched all of them but my favourites are G1 (the original), Beast Wars, RID, Armada and Animated; I like tf Prime too, but well I can't say anything because it recently started

The only one's i've finished, or have seen all available episodes for are Armada and Prime XD I'm in the middle of watching Animated.

oh and about Animated you need to watch it all because the 3rd season is the best, sadly the series was cancelled and the end it's very open and a little faster done because they were planning a 4th season that never saw the light...
and TF prime soon in february it's going to start its 2nd season so we have to see what happens

and its been really really good so far, i can't wait to see the third season! It sucks when good shows like that are cut short. oh, and speaking of season two...

the most nice thing here for tf prime is that Starscream is back and from those things in the autobot side I think Ratchet is going to have a lot of action here, maybe he is going to replace optimus while they try to recover him from the decepticons

In original Japanese version (Micron Legend) his name is Ratchet; I guess that's why he is a doctor too.

and Armada is a pretty decent continuation. Some things that definitely sucked (sometimes sloppy animation and the incredibly annoying humans), but a LOT that really rocked, such as character designs. and backstories!

...I have to admit, after seeing this piece and reading your commentary, I may want to review Red Alert in the Armada series again. This piece is nicely done, mainly that its colours are eye-catching. It also makes me think that there is a lot more to RA than his stoic demeanor.
