*le gasp!!!* look at it, LOOK AT IT!!!!!! this is my first, absolute first!! attempt using photoshop for creating a picture, and holy heck i am so incredibly pleased with this, i cant contain the happy!!! anywho, this is my entry for of her character/fursone, Twilight. go check her out and enter her contest, she's a sweet girl.
's for you Tenka-Snow, hope you love this as much as i do!!Sketched and inked on paper, scanned and coloured in Adobe Photoshop CS 8. Took me about 3 hours to colour is, and an extra hour to blend it, plus one more for the background. (yes, i did get lazy on the background, leave me alone!!

That is sweet. I really like the way that you blended your feathers and your fur. I am photoshop illiterate. The closest thing that I could do would be by hand with pastels. Anyway, it's beautiful, and the only thing that I noticed is that it might have a hard time flying if it is supposed to be able to, just because of where the wings are in relation to the shoulders.

you do have a point with the wings. however, i made them that way keeping in mind that most mythical animals have their wings coming from their choulders, allowing for greater lift while flying. i know they look kinda wonky in this picture...thank you for pointing it out to me!!

I like the detail on this. The lighting is magnificent, the blending is awesome, and you make that traditional howling pose rock my world ^^

hahaha...gimpy was my nickname on the swim team in my sophomore year because i was so accident prone....like when i slipped of the starting blocks and cyt my knee open...yuck. but w0000, go more nicknames!

mhm...still have the scar on my left knee..hurt like a mother too. and then i sprained my ankle, popped a vein in my arm (which was incredibly gross) fell on the side of the pool (i wasnt even running and there was no water there either...so i'm not sure how that happened...)
i'm incredibly accident prone around our pool...eeee, i die!!

it's not a very wondeful place to live...not very pretty unless you go to a huge national park or something...i live in the mountains and it's ok here. but still, i'd love to go to ireland someday, maybe after i finish college.

I have alot of RL friends over from Minnesota and Florida. They envy Ireland cause of our laid-back, friendly extrior. I love to see snow capped mountains. Our ones are just rocky hills. The biggest peak we have is Carrantouhill which is over a kilometer high.

Good luck in the contest! You and I had the same sort of idea. Blue markings to complement the eyes and unusual wings to make it unique. Well done! And congradulations on your first photoshop piece. I'm currently saving up for it meself and can't wait to get to use it!
