Ahadi sat with his tail swishing back and forth nervously but never saying a word. Few other lionesses stood with him offering comforting words. All Ahadi did in response is nod or smile. Finally a old lioness appeared from the birthing den and nodded to Ahadi. "Your Queen would like your presence my king," the older lionesses said.
Ahadi jumped up "Oh thank you for your help Busara!"
Busara nodded and walked of slowly, her old bones slowing her down, the other lionesses bowed there head in respect to the older lion. The most loving and kind healer they had.

Ahadi bolted into the cave finding his mate, Uru, laying down licking two lovely cubs. He cried and bounced over like a playful cub. He bent down to admire his new cubs. "Oh Uru," He smiled, "There wonderful! And healthy, i'm so glade!"
"Me to," Uru responded. "Have you thought of any names?"
Ahadi looked up surprised. "Me? But I thought the lioness does that?"
"Yes, but...I thought we could do it together?"
Ahadi noticed they were both males. "Both males, one king," He mumbled to himself already worrying.
"Do not worry about that dear," She said able to hear what he had said.
"Who was first born, they shall be king," Ahadi said.
"The bright one there," She said as she licked the cub. "But you will not pick because he is first born, you will pick after they prove themselves worthy," Uru said sternly. "But for now, lets name them."

Ahadi shook his head in disappointment with himself. How could he be talking about which one will be king when they were born a few minutes ago. "Alright, mhhhhh."
"I like Mufasa," Ahadi said proudly.
"Meaning king..." Uru said sternly.
"No not like that, my great uncle was named Mufasa, it also means Brave."
"I like that..." Uru said as she nuzzled Mufasa. "I like Taka too."
"Garbage?" Ahadi asked surprised.
"No silly, TakaTaka means Garbage. Taka means want, I just feel he will be a lion that will strive to do his best to accomplish many great things," Uru said softly.

They both agreed on the names and both looked down at the cubs. They were alone as the lionesses waited eagerly outside to see the new comers. Ahadi stared down as his sons, healthy, perfect, and lovely. He knew he would love them with all his heart. Little did he know Uru was thinking the exact same.

This is the first part of a chapter story of how I feel the story of Takas and Mufasas story went as cubs.
I really enjoyed created there characters messing around a bit. But here they are! Also, I decided to not make Taka a runt. Because why not! After all, this story is not the story of the chosen one Mufasa, but rather the chosen one of Taka. The story, I feel, in the beginning, Taka was chosen to be king.
