OK, so when I sat down to make an Undertale-picture based on the song 'Repetition', I figured the best way to incorporate the song was to go with the title. Namely, I wanted to depict what repetition might do to someone that is constantly aware of the timeline and world resetting themselves.Β
Originally this picture was going to be a series of pictures (kind of like a comic), in which Sans goes from joyful and optimistic to depressed and tired as a result of the world resetting so many times. Also, the tray of food is there to give the impression that the resets have made Sans give up trying (like, when he was happy and optimistic his food would be excellent, and then with each reset the food just gets worse), and the 'can't you even cook?'-line (which is from the song) is there to accentuate the unintended insensitivity that Sans might endure due to his reset-based depression.Β
