Here's something you don't see very often, a picture by me that hasn't been digitally manipulated (aside from tiding up the year as I'm an idiot and still started signing it '2010').So yes, this is a member of the 'Wolf Guard', the veterans of the Space Wolves. They get a lot of flack from 40k players for doing silly things like riding giant wolves and having rules that place them slightly into the 'OP' camp.
I however care not because they are Vikings in space, which is awesome and if riding giant cyberneticly enhanced wolves into battle is wrong, well then I don't want to be right.

They are only Vikings in space as long as there are no Khorne Berzerkers around and as long as the Squads stay dead.
Second rate Vikings at best.
Viklings, maybe.
(I once suffered a crushing defeat after a Venerable Dread of the SW's broke into my Chaos Lord and retinue and well... therefore I hate them and they smell.)
