Next is definitely Japan navy though I haven’t decided what style to go for. May do an A-150 and a pagoda style ship but not sure right now.

Pagoda would work if if it were like that of Hiei as opposed to that of Fuso, not sure yet. The next rendering project is (probably) going to be Yamashiro, since I am also building a 1/700 model of it. I'll be able to reuse the fittings on subsequent battleships like an A150, however. I'll look into the different options, but everything is still a while away. modelling takes a LONG time.

Nice render.
If you'd ever played the HMS Nelson in World of Warships you'd know the turret closest to the bridge has very poor arcs of fire, forcing one to be broadside to the target to be used. That is NOT a good thing as that exposes your citadel. More armor and only four triple 16 inch turrets plus a few more 5.25 inch dual purpose guns would be better.

Precisely why all subsequent design (KGV, Vanguard, Lion) did away with that sort of arrangement. 5 Turrets is inefficient though does provide some additional cover during maneuvering.
in a full broadside engagement (naval or shore bombardment), there could be an advantage. Still better that than a Fuso arrangement. Ise is bearable pre-conversion

Yes, Ise was better. As for firing while maneuvering, BB turrets can't turn fast enough, period.

They probably can (i mean will turn faster than the ship does and can be rotated ahead of the turn.) The turret could actually turn a decent bit before the delay between the initial rudder turn and noticeable yaw. Some planning and yes, still inefficient. Looks cool though

No battleship turret has ever been able to turn faster than the ship in real life, heavy cruisers had the same problem. Turning turrets in anticipation of a change in course can work...sometimes.
