I did this SPIDER-MAN sketch today for my blog in relation to the news that Marvel will be publishing AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3 times a month now... and the most exciting part of that for me is that Chris Bachalo will be the artist on one of those books. There will be 4 rotating creative teams, and Bachalo will be working with Zeb Wells on one of the thrice-monthly books. Great news for this HUGE Bachalo fan.Related content

He seems...a little skinny, like teen Spiderman. Marvel style (if that's what you're going for) is a bit bulkier.

If you took the pose at the very bottom with his fist clenched, or the picture as a whole, and colored it, it would look fantastic as a poster image.

It was a horrible and tragic the news that this incredible artist named Mike Wieringo, passed away.
Unfortunately, I never knew the man, but I knew his fabulous works.
Mike Wieringo was an amazing artist, he captivate me (I am from Brazil) and others around the world with his artwork style. His art in comics was so fluid that look more like an animation than a simple comic panel.
Unfortunately now he became part of the amazing artists that left us, like Leonardo DaVinci, Alex Toth , Jack Kirby, Will Eisner and so many others that were more than men in their lives, they were as you living legends.
Now you ascend to heaven to become more than a man. And like they that we miss so much, you became an immortal legend.
The sorrow of his fans, fellow artists, friends and family will remain but his incredible art will live forever in our comics and memory.
Iβll miss the incredible and amazing artist nemed Ringo.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to Mikeβs loved ones, family and friends alike.
