ooooh very stylie lookin bit o steel u got there .. very nice hammer work .....i love how such simple designs really look stunning in steel ...has that been "upset" on the end to get it to faten out like that? ..i never got round to trying that method out *sigh* ..seeing this just reminds me how much more i wanna learn of this amazing art . well done

Yes the end was upset and the edges beaten to a bevel. I wanted to work the bar to an octogonal section, but did not want to loose the nice curveat the end. Since I had to use the fuller to start and stop the the octogon, I just fullered the corners twice extra. I just love the pattern it makes on the sides.
