50 layers, lots of lag and half a bazillion years later...

T'is finished.

Story: Wind Storm was travelling through the land in one of her long exploration trips when she hears a soft sob. Curiosity piqued, she tracks down the noise until she comes across a lonely Angelica. "Hey, you okay?" "You don't want to be around me..." The pale coloured pegasus looks up to the source of the voice, and starts as she finds herself facing a towering cyan-blue she-wolf with large, teal wings. Her amber eyes seems to be able to bore into her soul. Quickly, she wipes away her tears.

"I'm... I'm fine..."

"You're lying."

"How would you know?"

"I've been alive for a hundred years and lived through a long war. I know the voice of a lie when I hear one."

The wolf walked over, head low, wings pressed against herself to make her look less intimidating. Times like these she cursed her large build. She sat down next to Angelica, and wrapped her tail around the sad pegasus.

"Look at me."

The pegasus flinched at the touch, and visibly shuddered when the wolf spoke again. She could feel those eyes on her. Shakily, she looked up, and saw a kind face, with knowing eyes. Something told her that the wolf's young look betrayed everything those kind amber eyes had seen.

"I'm fine." She repeated.

"No. You're lonely. And it saddens you."

The blue-eyed pegasus gaped inwardly. Seemingly reading her mind, Wind Storm elaborated.

"Your eyes betray everything you say. I don't see the eyes of a pony seemingly 'fine'. I now look at the eyes of a pony who's lonely."

The pegasus looked down.

"My name's Wind Storm by the way."

"Angelica."

The wolf sighed. This pony was obviously not going to come through on her own.

"Stop looking so low, come fly with me. No one's going to mope about being lonely on my watch."

"It's really alright, I'm fine on my own..."

The smaller pony squeaked as she found herself being levitated by a brilliant purple aura onto the wolf's back.

"Sorry, I'm not taking a no for an answer. Hang on."

Before the pegasus could protest, Wind Storm's hind legs propelled them off the ground as she spread her large wings. With a single beat, they were sailing through the tree line and into the open sky.

"Wait, what are you doing?"

Grinning, the wolf sped up to an incredible speed. The wind rushed around them, whipping across their faces. Despite herself, Angelica couldn't help but smile a shaky grin as she clung on to the wolf's thick mane.

Poor Wind Storm's probably going blind with all that sun. /shot

Tried a few new affects that I took off of Google since my Photoshop got deleted and I'm waiting for my friend to give me the torrented one again. I'm actually happy with how they turned out. Tried something new with the movement affect as well, although it kinda failed, but whatever.

Was gonna do double layer cell shading, but after seeing all the lag and the amount of time that was already put into this I went 'lol nope'.

Also probably going to do another entry if I have the time.
