I present you the first fanart on Desmond Lockheart from Fallout 3 DLC Point Lookout (well, first according to the search button, the only other drawing of him being a small mugshot in my FO3 meme).He's one mean bastard, he uses you shamelessly, insults you, gets you almost killed, never thanks you, but still you help him and do everything he says. Well, 'coz you just paid $$$ for the DLC and he appears to be the main character there
. But really, there's something in Desmond that just wins you over. At least it was the case with me. ...I wonder how he managed to keep those hair and mustache after 200+ years?...
Also I cannot get rid of the feeling that on this picture Desmond reminds me of some real guy, some actor perhaps, but I just can't remember who. I've been thinking about it for a couple of days now, it's driving me crazy!So, any ideas?

Desmond was a cool character, I loved his attitude and his dialogue. That talking brain was funny to but Desmond was awesome. Great work, I love the ghouls and this fella was one of a kind.

Charon, Roy Phillips, Crowley.....all of them are so awesome. those intelligent ghouls are more cunning than ordinary humans and it made me admire them.
siding with him Desmod then murdering tribal members are quite decent job indeed, although those tribals are tougher than raiders indeed.....their strengths are equivalent to slavers or talon mercenaries imo. i am guessing somewhat punga fruits made them tougher....-.-

That man is the greatest badass ever. He irradiated himself before the war, turning himself into a ghoul just so he could survive the war and kill people he doesn't like. And he has a rockin' mo'.

I think that Desmond's prickly attitude is what gives him his charm. I was in awe of the way he always mouthed me off when I played Point lookout but I still sided with him anyways. It's probably because the way he pronounces certain words like "bird" just makes me smile.

When I first saw him, I instantly thought of Mr. Oldman. But anyways, I think he's one of the best Ghouls in the game, mostly because of his no shit taking attitude, but, to actually get him to say "Pretty fucking please" at one point was a satisfaction of mass gain.
I am quite unsure where to start on this pic, the details are top-notch! The wrinkled areas on his suit, the cracked skin, the lighting! Superb!
And, according to my roommates, if my voice were more gravelled and dry in tone, I'd sound just like this guy since I have the accent. (yay?)

As for his accent, does it sound authentic? I read somewhere, that it doesn't really, since the actor that voiced him was American or Canadian or smth, don't remember now. Not Brittish, anyway. To me it sounds fine, but I'm not the native English speaker.

Desmond is meant to be british, its given away by his soft A's i.e say BARstard instead of BAHstard and the brain calls him 'a limey' which is derogative to british

Personally, I think he reminds me more of Christopher Walken a la Nick of Time. That's just me, though.

The one time he thanks you is if you pass him on your way out and he says "it pains me to say it... But thank you." Which kind of made me spazz more than the time he calls you pretty or princess. ^^

I like it when you go find him in the panic room and say that you're glad to see him and he murmurs something like "You're just a big fucking softie, aren't you." Ha ha, yeah.
You can also get him to think you're clever if you destroy the jammer, find him all angry at the lighthouse, then say it was to get Calvert to "drop his guard."
