It's gotta suck when somebody you know actually knows the answer to that question.Yes, thankyoumuch, I do like drawing ZAD...something. You may fill in the missing letter any way you wish- I know what I think. As for notes... this is just an in-class doodle-thingy that actually got finished, so I'm not going to rip it a new one. But I couldn't remember what Dib's interstellar radio looked like, other than that it was boxy. Zim was listening to something on it (do Irkens have bad pop radio stations, I wonder?), but having no ears he just kind of slings the headphones somewhere near his head and goes from there.
My dear teachers from freshman year must be rolling in their nonexistant graves, because *where*, dear girl, has proper perspective gone? To which I respond that perhaps if I did not have courses at ridiculous hours of the evening, said perspective might not go out to dinner. Mmmm... dinner.

I adore the way you draw Zim; he's at a nice balance between looking buggy and humanoid. His eyes here are really cool looking. I like how although you've gone to a rather more realistic shape for the head his eyes are still big and round and stylized. The IZ characters all look neat in your style. Keep it up, ne?

Zim without big eyes would simply not read as Zim to me- even if I do downsize everyone else's in the name of realism. He's an interesting challenge for me- I can never quite decide what to keep from the show and what to toss- drawing or writing-wise.
