Kagome- Really? Well, just to be on the safe side maybe we should give you a taste of my brand of punishment, hmmm?
Danny- I don't suppose your brand of punishment is a stern warning and a call home, is it?
Kagome- 'evil grin'

I used to do a lot of crossovers with InuYasha and Danny Phantom when I was 13~ Oh the Nostalgia~ I love this picture XP

I played with the idea as well and ended up with a pretty strong premise, helped along by borrowing a few ideas from other fanfics that only lasted for a few chapters before being dropped.Β
The story opens with the group needing to do a 'family history' project for school and Danielle, who comes into town visiting Danny, ends up finding adoption papers with Danny's name on them. When he confronts them with this, Jack and Madeline accidentally mention the Mansons and how they were adopting Samantha the same day the Fentons adopted Danny, revealing both children had been left on the doorsteps of what would be their homes. After another confrontation with the Mansons, and examining the items left with them by their biological parents, including letters and a handful of pieces of pink glass, the group decides to head to Japan in order to track Danny and Samantha's parents down, Tucker, Jasmine, and Danielle coming along, leaving Valerie to watch over Amity Park.Β
Staying at the Higurashi Shrine with the permission of its priest, Sota Higurashi, it doesn't take the group long before they end up falling into the old well located on the property and find themselves in a seemingly different world; something not that startling given their previous adventures. Danny briefly gets into a fight with some guy with white hair and dog ears, who sensed and demands their 'Sacred Jewel Shards', before moving to deal with a group of monsters attacking a nearby village, where they receive a far more friendly welcome by the village's priestess, Kagome, who easily is able to keep her hanyou husband in line. The group reveal how they arrived, and Kagome reveals they are a few hundred years in the past and that she is from their era, having discovered the passage through the well a fair decade and a half ago. She also explains about the Sacred Jewel Shards and how potentially dangerous they are, but accepts when Danny and Samantha refuse to hand them over, needing them in order to find their biological parents; InuYasha does so begrudgingly.Β
Before they can talk more, another group of demons attack the village, these ones intelligent assassins after the Jewel Shards, and Danny ends up taking an injury through the heart that, if he were purely human, would have been fatal, but is only staggering thanks to his ghost form being resistant against normal metals. Unfortunately, when the weapon is pulled back, it takes something out of Danny, something small, black, and round, which Samantha assumes is a bad thing and crushes it under her boot. InuYasha reveals, however, that the object was a black pearl, something often used to mask and sometimes suppress a demon's energy; energy which begins radiating from Danny as he begins transforming, his human, ghost, and new alien features coming out and blending until they stabilize, giving him a new yet familiar form. They just have to wait a few minutes for InuYasha to keep Danny in check so they can consider the situation as the awakening of his apparently hidden demonic blood has made Danny temporarily feral.Β
It's soon revealed that Daniel Fenton was originally Higurashi Kurohi, Kagome and InuYasha's son, and Samantha Manson was Shinsei Hitsuki, Miroku and Sango's daughter, having clearly inherited her father's purple eyes. The four were approached by a spirit, who Kurohi recognizes as Clockwork, after Naraku attacked the two infants in an attempt to reclaim the Sacred Jewel Shards they had acquired from his minions, offering to send the infants to the modern era where they would be safe from Naraku's grasp. Kagome and InuYasha were directed towards the Fentons, whom Clockwork told them had recently suffered a miscarriage, an unfortunate result of their decades of Β handling of ectoplasm and exposure to ectoplasmic energy. Meanwhile, Miroku simply found them the largest, wealthiest looking home in the city, which ended up being Manson Manor. The news is shocking and takes everyone a good while to process and recover from, especially Kurohi, who hasn't stopped considering himself a 'freak' because he was a half-ghost, and now has to add being a quarter demon on top of that. Thankfully, a solid punch to the face by InuYasha, threatening to beat him if he hears Kurohi insult himself again, helps keep him grounded, thanking his father while his mother uses her sacred powers to heal the minor bruise.Β
From here, the group spends a while joining the four adults as they continue their quest to find where Naraku has been hiding his heart so they can finally destroy him, delayed slightly by the need to call in a few favors, and so Kurohi can steal the Crown of Fire from Vlad, so they can cure Danielle, receiving an infusion of demonic and ghostly energy, along with blood from Kagome and InuYasha, stabilizing and inducting her into the Higurashi family as Kurohi's twin sister Meihi. Along the way, they also visit 'Uncle Sesshomaru', his human wife Rin, and Kurohi and Meihi's hanyou cousin in Tokyo. And while Meihi and Shippo fall almost effortlessly into a relationship together, Kurohi and Hitsuki's struggles because of Kurohi slowly coming to terms with his identity (a half-ghost, quarter-human, quarter-demon entity) and Hitsuki needing to overcome her emotional abuse by the Mansons, treating her less like their daughter or even a person but instead as a doll they tried to use to replace the one that had been literally stolen from them, causing her to constantly push Kurohi away as he tries to embrace the change, where Hitsuki wants things to stay the same or go back to the way they were, which might push Kurohi and Shiori together when she comes to the village seeking aid from InuYasha and Kagome, her mother having recently died and the people no longer wanting the bat hanyou in their little fishing village.Β
The story continues to have its twists and turns along from there. Vlad becomes an enemy who gets dealt with, along with Pariah Dark, a handful of other major ghosts, Naraku, and even Dark Dan whom Kurohi is terrified of, even though it's shown that with his demonic, sacred, and ghostly powers, Kurohi is more powerful than both his parents combined. I won't spoil any major story points, but I do remember leaving the end with enough hanging questions that I could easily blend it into the Naruto universe as an alternate future because of certain events that occurred. It's been a few years since I last looked at the story, and I never uploaded it to anywhere because I never completed it, chunks just left open because I couldn't figure out how I wanted to handle the situations, and the Naruto-expansion crossover barely got past the beginning for similar reasons. Considering how much I remember of the basics, I may go back, reread what I had down before, finish it up, and take another crack at that expansion. Plus, I had fun writing it, so I imagine going back will be equally enjoyable.Β

I'm working on reading this right now. I will be sure to post a review when I get a chance. So far I'm loving it. You have a truly unique way of crossing over these shows! It's not a general team up oh no it's more. Ha ha Kagome could totally handle our hybrid ghost! This is going to be a fun story I bet! Oh I really need to finish it.
Okay as for the drawing... it looks rockin. I really like the way you drew Kagome in DP Style. The little tilt in the way you drew it really adds a lot. I love how you did her hair also. Danny's expression is so helpless it's funny XD Awesome work!

Actually, the tilt was unintentional. I scanned it at a weird angle and was too lazy to rescan it, so I figured I'd fix it in my edit, but when I took a second look at it I liked the tilt so I decided to keep it. XDD
