Technical Details: I spent about 12 hours yesterday trying to tweak the Guadalupe texture often used for Ysabel's Genesis 2 model so it would better suit her. The best I came up with was altering the Translucency color, the Transmitted color, and added a very light tint to the Base color. This is a raw test render left running all night. Believe it or not, but this is the exact same shape and texture from Keeping Bad Company .

Story Details: The idea behind getting this look right with the tattoos is that many years after Ysabel had been involved with the bikers mentioned elsewhere she goes undercover to infiltrate another gang. Posing as a young woman fleeing to the US from cartel violence and worse, she gets a bunch of tattoos to help with the role. To her horror, she finds out that this new club grew out of the ashes of the one she'd once known, founded by the meanest of the old club's younger members and that they'd carried over none of the skewed honor Ysabel had admired in men like Ferreira and Chavez. But the club also has ties to someone else from her past, a sadistic bastard that Ysabel thought was dead...

Afterward: And that last line, referencing a survivor of the massacre mentioned under Disavowed , is what took an old, nasty, brutal short story idea of mine and turned it into an outline for something longer related to Elena Ibanez and the villain who nearly killed her. Oh! And tracking that guy leads into Ysabel's appearance in Layla's modern-day post-amnesia storyline... So, anyway, I just wanted to do some renders related to that more recent time period.
