I remember that one episode of Sonic Boom where Dave (being the anti-Sonic, pro-Eggman jackal that he at least was) gave Sonic extra pickles on his hamburger when Sonic wanted no pickles.

That's unbelievable... I live in Poland and I've never seen this brand of pickles. It actually says on the jar "Our little dragon recommends...". Is this actually real or did somebody forge such picture and spread it online? Because that really goes far. And I'm sure I haven't seen this, but maybe it wasn't available everywhere.
But yeah, the label actually claims it's a small dragon, not a hedgehog.

While I wouldn't discount the possibility of this being a fake, it doesn't really look like it.
This could also be an old picture, which could explain why you've never seen this . Or maybe it's a recent picture; just that it was from some other Polish-speaking country.Β

I'm pretty sure Poland is the only Polish-speaking country. XD Maybe these pickles weren't available in my particular area or I was visiting the wrong stores. Perhaps it was only available for a brief period and then they were forced to change it. I don't really know. I found a more recent label of the same brand of pickles and it's normal this time.

It just makes me wonder why people would make bad spin-offs of Sonic (or anyone else from the franchise for that matter) like this. It's pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

This isn't so much a "bad spinoff" as it is a terrible way to come up with a "new" mascot for their product. At least in this case.

I have seen that with classic and regular Sonic, it's still nowhere near as bad as that one set that has pretty much as many different copyrighted characters as they could fit all on the same card for the same figure set (bad figures too, I'm sure you've seen the bootleg I'm talking about)
