Description
Since I decided to keep the ages of the Eveyon family the same, I needed to switch Ria out for a new character. I had a difficult time figuring out which Pokemon to switch with and originally planned to just fix Julianus' info for the group. After a lot of thinking, I decided to go with a new OC and chose Absol, one of my favourite Pokemon. For those curious, I named the gijinka after my Absol in Pokemon X and gave him the same nature and ability as well since he's a great fighter and I've grown attached to him
Name: Sherlock Scott Xavier
Gender: Male
Height: 6'1
Weight: 200 lbs (mostly muscle/height)
Age: 19
Birthday: April 27th
Home Town: Aquarius
Pokemon: Absol
Level: 70
Nature: Rash
Ability: Pressure
Moves:
Night Slash
Psycho Cut
Thunderbolt
Protect
Collage Year: First
Major: Athletics and Battle
Facility: Skill
Personality: Curious | Intelligent | Calm | Introvert | Loyal | Protective | Secretive | Dangerous | Misunderstood
Sherlock is overly curious, which can sometimes get him in trouble. Highly intelligent, he loves learning knew things and testing different scenarios. He isn't very good with people and prevers to be by himself, but is trying to figure out how to properly behave in social situations.
Being an only child, he was often left to his own devices, so interacting with others can be rather difficult for him. Sherlock also feels that he holds a curse since there have been many times that disastorous things occured when he was around. Since he doesn't like the idea of people getting killed because of his "curse", Sherlock has a habit of acting rude or cold toward others, threatening people if they try to get too close to him.
Sherlock doesn't know very many people, nor did he ever get close to many growing up, so he becomes extremely loyal and protective of those he considers friends; he would risk his life without a second thought to keep those he cares about safe. It can take a while for anyone to manage to get close to him, however, and so people generally give up before they manage to get a chance to really understand him.
He doesn't like talking about his past, often times avoiding the subject or making up an excuse as to why he can't say anything, such as his parents having worked in a secret facility or that he was used as an experiment and couldn't remember anything other than a white room. Sherlock can also be rather dangerous, lashing out at people if they manage to anger or annoy him. He has a terrible temper, but thanks to self-control since he was a child, he can generally control his temper. The only thing that would ever be able to set him off is if Erik or any of the Elders at Delgate were injured/targeted by someone. He has a hard time to control himself once he gets angry and it can take a while before he can calm himself down. The only one at current that can calm him down in a full out rage is Erik.
Biography:
Sherlock was born in the mountain villages of Aquarius and was abandoned on the doorstep of Xavier Orphanage. He was adopted by an archeologist father and artistic mother a few days before the building was burned down. Since Sherlock didn't have a name when he was taken in by the orphanage, he was called the Xavier baby and after he was adopted, his parents decided that he deserved a part of his past, whether he knew of it or not, and so let him have Xavier as his last name, the custom of the orphanage when an orphan comes to them without a last name.Ever since Sherlock was a baby, he was forced to stay on the mountain, being told by his parents that their species was often frowned upon by others. Not understanding what they meant, Sherlock decided to sneak out of his house one night when he was six years old in order to get a glimpse of the villages near the water. Everything had gone well as he raced down the mountain, breathing in the calming night air. Since he didn't want to make his parents angry, he decided to stay in the shadows as he looked over the villages. The night was peaceful, but it didn't last for long. The entire journey he had a nagging sense of dread in the back of his mind, though still being so young he had no idea what that feeling meant. As he was heading back up the mountain, an Houndoom gijinka spotted him and started yelling for the villagers to wake up. Startled, Sherlock ran back up the mountain as fast as he could, feeling his heart sink as he heard other voices begin to rise from the darkness. Looking back down, he noticed that one of the houses had caught on fire and was quickly moving from house to house. The other gijinka got the fire out as fast as they could. As Sherlock stood in shocked silence, he didn't notice the Houndoom from before climbing up the mountain toward him. The gijinka was yelling at him, saying that the fire was his fault, that he was born to bring disaster. Just as the adult male was about to attack Sherlock, a hooded figure stepped in the way and used Protect. The figure, holding a male accented voice, told the gijinka to leave the child alone and picked Sherlock up to escort him home.
After the incident, Sherlock's parents decided that it would be best if they took a trip to Delgate, where his father worked. A week after settling in near the excavation site there was a cave in and both of Sherlock's parents were caught in it. Now orphaned at a young age, he had no idea what to do, not knowing any of his relatives or how to get back to Aquarius. Seeing his obvious need for a home, a spunky eleven year old Haunter named Erik decided to take him under his wing. Due to the fact that not many people lived in Delagte, no one bothered the two children that would appear every once and a while to check on the archeologists. There were days when Sherlock felt a desperate need to go and visit them, telling Erik that he had a strange feeling. Shortly after they would arrive, something disastrous would occur, causing Sherlock to believe he was the cause of everyone's misfortune. Not knowing any better, he ran as far away as he could and hid from society. It took Erik five days to find Sherlock curled up in the back of a cave and five more to get him to eat again or even think about going back home.
When Sherlock turned nineteen, and Erik was twenty-four, he overheard a group of archeologists talking about a new University that was opening up called University of Polartropis. Gaining his interest, Sherlock asked Erik where he would be able to find this University. After hearing that it was located in a city, it took a while before Sherlock decided that it was what he wanted to do. Erik asked him what he planned to study there, if he wanted to go into a specific field since he had taken various subjects at one of the neighbouring village's schools and colleges. Although he wasn't sure what to say at first, it was decided that Sherlock would take “Athletics and Battling” so he could gain the ability to protect others, like the mysterious man that had saved him as a child.

Other:
Sherlock doesn't know that he was adopted since his adoptive parents were also Absol gijinka
Sherlock was home-schooled by his parents until they passed away.
To this day he still doesn't know who the hooded figure was, but desperately wants to find out. All he can remember is the man's voice
After his parents had passed away, Erik asked the elders to help Sherlock continue his studies
Sherlock was able to finish normal schooling at a young age, studying part time at one of the collages in a nearby village.
His favourite subjects have always been science, art, and battle
- One of the Elders at Delgate taught Sherlock how to play the Violin to keep him preoccupied whenever Erik wasn't around.
Sherlock and Erik had a bad habit of sleeping all day and being up all night since neither of them enjoyed hot/harshly sunny days
After Sherlock had run away and Erik found him, Erik let the younger male know that he wasn't cursed, but was gifted with the ability to sense terrible events (this knowledge did not help him feel better about himself)
Sherlock would often times get in fights with children and young archeologists due to his temper when he was younger
Now, he barely ever shows emotion and doesn't understand it very well
During one of his trips with Erik to the excavation sites, Sherlock noticed a glint in the sand and unburied an ancient necklace with a strange stone embedded in the middle and decided to keep it. A strange ancient bracelet with a different stone embedded in it was found by Erik.
He understands personal space when it comes to himself, but another person's personal space is a whole other story. If he has something important to say, he won't hesitate to grab a person's arm, catch their chin in his hand, put his face in the other person's face, or even throw/pin them against a wall or other sturdy object. (He doesn't due this often, but it can happen). Erik tried to get him out of the habit, but nothing he did would work.
There are times when he can come off as a flirt or appears to be attempting to seduce someone, but in reality, he has no idea what “flirting” or “seducing” is.
Sherlock has no idea what “love” is or how one goes about with such a thing
The only person that Sherlock cares about is Erik and would protect him with his life.

Out-of-place comment, I daresay, but did he ever manage to get his Absolite?

Ah, back when I first applied with him I had asked if the ancient artifact he had found could be Absolite. At the time I was told that it couldn't be (or that it at least didn't work at this time), but I'm not sure if the rules have changed for that or not.

I can just imagine Cruz' guitar strings snapping everytime he passes by him.

Awh, if Sherlock notiched the strings snap he'd probably get upset (without showing it, of course) XD He plays the Violin so he's interested in stringed instruments.

Yes, they both play stringed instruments.
But you know what's funnier?
*Sherlock passes by Ahma* *She drops her books and tries to pick them up*
Ahma: Argh! I broke a nail!

Pff, haha, Sherlock wouldn't be impressed XD
Sherlock: *turns and lifts an eyebrow, hesitating to speak* Are you... alright, miss? *makes no attempt to help*

Yeah. I should have known that a broken nail would not be categorized as a disaster, especially with Ahma's standards.
And psh, what a gentleman.
Ahma: *hides her broken nail* It'll take weeks to grow back, but no worries, good sir. I don't really mind.

Nah, a broken nail wouldn't mean much to him. Now, if he had passed her at the top of the stairs and she tripped or fell down the stairs... he would be blaming himself terribly and would try his best to catch her/stop her from going too far.
Sherlock: ... *stares for a moment then swiftly turns around and starts to walk away again* Right, if you're bleeding remember to bandage it and try not to get blood on your books. *pauses midstep for a moment and looks over his shoulder* Also... try to be more careful with your things. *looks forward and continues on*
I'm not sure if "gentleman" is what I'd call him XD he can be rather nice to people when he feels it necissary, though.

In that case, the staircase incident might be Ahma's best case scenario concerning that matter, since she had been in a few tougher situations before.
