NB: Best viewed HD coz otherwise you get this random band at the bottom.My uni major work!
I can identify most of what is wrong with it: bad plot, bad direction, inconsistent drawing, flat animation, lazy titles... but hey, I finished it, and I've learnt a lot, and I will make better work in the future.

But basically I did this homemade animation equipment thing (that totally did my back in), scanned in my frames to Photoshop, and put it all together in After Effects. Except for a couple of shots I animated in Flash coz I got lazy.

I guess the tower of cards represents the boy's life, and it was so small because he was so young and never got the chance to grow up.

So, the boy was deathly ill, and on what he may or may not have felt was his last day to live, Death came to him and allowed him to play and feel like a joyful, energetic kid one last time. Winning the last game was Death's subtle way of telling the boy, "this is as far as you can go here. It's time for you to come with me".
