I did a tutorial for which I streamed live for her on USTREAM *check my page for next available streaming date) and she did this: [link]I love it so much
The drawing I did isn't really this sizeIts blown up so you can see all the detail with values and light effects.
Things used in this image:
1 piece of computer paper, 1 'Aquamarine" prisma color pencil (PC905), A .7 lead pencil, an Hb pencil, a 5b pencil (Ebony), and a white erase for highlights.
Est. Time w/ instructional guidance for others: about and hour.
is an amazing artist who is also know for her Dragonarts books. Shes a very influential person who I defiantly would recommend you guys going over to see.
She inspired the design and creation of this dragon

So, I'm not a usually a fan of dragons and wolves, considering this site is plastered with the bloody things, but hecks yes, homegirl. This freaking rocks. Glad to see you keep improving. I hope to see more art with quality such as this. I give 6 Shiva thumbs up!

Yes! More excellent coloring!!! Do you use regular color pencils? When I use my prismacolors the drawing gets all spotty unless I blend it

Its not about covering an area fast. Its about slowly edging across the page. I don't blend at all with this I just color and go with it.

sweet! What sort of prismas? Do you use the l ighttfat ones or premier. I use premier and when I try and shade slowly it doesnt come out as smooth as your pics', its probably the paper I use also.

I use just plain computer paper. And I believe they're premier. If you want to get the same ones go to hobby lobby or Micheal's. They have an 'Aquamarine' color.

Nice, very nice.. I just love the color!, details are great and.. I'm sttuned!! Did you actually use the white eraser? OMG!! I couldn't do that xD It would turn out really messy. lol
Nvm, I've been thinking about you 'cause I found some old drawings I did using the LionKing basis xD, I'll try to get the scaned so I can show them tou you (The uglier!!! xD)

Yes I did a video on my drawing this on ustream. I'll be airing the same tutorial live again so that I can cover things that I missed. When I do tutorials I don't just draw things and saw do this. I explain why I draw what and why its like that and the such.
I also will cover again in the video how to value shade, outline with ink (I didn't do that before), how to sketch, and how to add highlights.
I also can't wait to see them. I'm going to do a lion king vid after that one.
