XIV - Play Nice with Others
You can’t usually get too far in life without some kind of social skills. Whether you’re interacting with your loaf, your handler, or a potential mate, it pays off to know how to behave with others.
° Draw or write about one of the first times your Kukuri encountered strangers, and how they responded. Were they a natural charmer? Did things begin tense but smooth out with time? Or was it a total disaster?
Armani looked up with wide eyes at the massive prairie in front of him. Aina had slipped on his vest and then had led them to the city center. The young rook had never seen so many people and kukuri before, certainly there weren't that many on Aina's patch of land. Auolo and the others were hardly considered a bakery when taking into account everyone there. He looked down at Aina as if asking what to do and she gave him a smile, telling him to heel. So he stayed by her side but was still unsure of what to do as the crimson prairie approached him. They would just walk past them, Armani was sure of it before he heard a voice speak up from below.

"Oh hello there!" She chimed out, the voice's owner being a small pink mini.

She waved a paw and explained her request for the prairie and Armani to help in showing her son a good way of using his energy. Armani looked to Aina, the lynx was clueless as to what Joy was saying, not understanding her at all but looked expectantly at Armani. The kukuri's eyes shifted, what was he to do? He wanted to help the mini out but Aina told him to stay by her side.

The young rook lowered his head to look at her as the mini's pup moved closer to Armani and away from the scary prairie.

"I'm sorry miss, but I have to stay with my handler. She told me to heel so I can't move." He let out, giving her a tiny crooked yet apologetic smile as the mini brushed it off, telling him not to worry about it.

The prairie however, seemed to gracious accept the mini's request and the two soon moved away leaving Armani with Aina. He swallowed thickly as she beckoned his head down, shifting into her human form, she moved closer to the pearl rook. A beaming smile was on her face as she rubbed his face, patting his neck.

"Good boy Gin! You did great!" Armani's expression grew into one of contentness as he nuzzled the side of his head into her hands.

"Now, let's get moving, there's still a long way to go." She announced as he gave a nod and followed by Aina's side.

The pair made their way through the streets of the city, Armani being challenged over and over to stay by Aina's side despite the wonders of the city and the urge to go meet the other people.

All he could proudly think was, 'I'm a good boy'.
