I know I said this was gonna be up yesterday, busy all day until about 10 o'clock at night and didn't have much time to work on it. For the record though I did finish it last night. But I was too tired to post it.
So, this obviously takes place in Kat-Verse. For those who don't read it and don't know, Prowl is kind of an ass when he's injured and recovering. In that, he doesn't listen to what anyone says even medics and refuses to rest even for a minute, and is grumpy. Hence the pouting that Kat is trying not to laugh at. So in this picture, Kat would be trying to convince Prowl to actually take a day to relax and you know, not reopen every single injury he has. Will, he go for it? Now that's the question.
Anyways, I actually like how this one turned out. The sky actually looks like a morning sky this time so that's a plus. I'm still practicing with the shading, so it might be wonky in a couple places. Other than that I like how it turned out.
And Kat being who she is of course owns a lot of things with cat puns on them. Katninjagirl96 and I came down to two. One fit on her shirt, but I still wanted to use the other one so I stuck it on the mug on the table. Speaking of cats, I think it has become a personal goal of mine to include all 11 of her cats in a picture at some point. So far I've got Ruby, and in this one I've got Belle (gray) and Fawn (seal point) who's marks should be darker, but oh well.Okay, this time I SWEAR! The doodle dump is next. I know most people just doodle every day or so and then and just gather them together, but I'm not much of a doodler. I tend to set off a few days just for doodling that eventually become a doodle dump.
Btw, just noticed that this is my 150th deviation. Yay!

I don't think Kat could ever wear non-mismatching socks. It's Kat! XD I couldn't resist. One fit perfectly on her shirt and one fit perfectly on the cup.
XD Yeah, I doubt her laughing about his pouty face would help much in cheering him up. Yeah, and I have a feeling she'd be having too much fun tormenting him to even think of that.
Maybe it's just me then.....

No... Kat will have to wear matching socks, but only in a professional situation. But yeah, any regular or lazy day, she's not wearing matching socks. She's too much of a scatter brain to keep up with matching pairs for her non-working days. XD

Nope, that and there's a superstition going around that wearing matching socks in bad luck. I mean, she's probably not the most superstitious person in the world, but if she's willing to try out fertility statues in order to get pregnant, she not above wearing mismatched socks when she can. XD
Um... i dunno... you've already mentioned that Evette might make an appearance, so that's enough for me honestly.

Really? Well, no wonder Kat does it then. Yeah, she's probably not the most superstitious person in the world, but probably in that group. Whether they know it yet or not. XD Either way, Prowl is going to be in for a surprise once that phase rolls around....and he thought he was superstitious. XD

Yeah, she's not superstitious, but she likes to try and do superstitious things just to see if they work. Nothing bad happens when she wears mismatched socks, so that's gotta count for something...

Would definitely find the illogical aspects to them. One thing is for sure though, if he sees the statues, he's not gonna do a damn thing while they're in the bedroom. XD
Hmm... i don't know... i haven't found much fuel for the more bizarre superstitions of the Cybertronian world... i mean, we got the optics, but that doesn't really compare to fertility statues. The optics labeled you as something, the statues just stare at you uncomfortably. Plus he has probably seen enough human horror movies about cursed objects and whatnot so he probably wouldn't trust them as well. XD

Hmmm....I can see ghosts and whatnot being part of it. I think the only reason that popped into my mind though was because I watch this one paranormal series on youtube and I've been binging it the past couple days. XD Either way, every culture has their ghost/spirit beliefs, so I wouldn't be shocked if Cybertron had them too....as for weird ones like fertility statues, I can't think of any. But I think they would have the average, ghosts, mythical creatures beliefs like every other culture....Yeah, even though Prowl isn't quite as superstitious as Kat, he's still superstitious enough to not be too keen on having possibly cursed objects in the apartment. XD

Definitely the ghosts and mythical creatures, but they don't seem the type to have the real bizarre ones like mismatch socks causing bad luck... there's probably a thing with numbers. Like how 7 is considered lucky while 13 isn't and stuff like that... but as far as explaining that is something i haven't figured out yet....
Prowl is probably paranoid about stuff like that, and that would be his argument for the fertility statues if the whole "They're creepy and i hate that they're watching us." bit doesn't work. XD

Yeah, Cybertron seem like to type to have overly bizarre ones. But I could definitely see something with numbers....seems like something that would be up their alley....

It would have to be numbers... because the only other superstition i can see is something to do with Energon. Like, maybe a certain way that a cube cracks is a bad omen or something.
"Prowl don't be ridiculous, these statues are harmless and only help. They're not cursed." Kat said.

And to this day, Kat will be forever angry at Chess for introducing the guys to said horror movie. XD

I'm guessing Chess has made them sit down for quite a lot of horror movie marathons then? Well, as long as it keeps creepy statues out of the bedroom, I think Prowl will be thankful for them. Oh yes, Chess insisted on it for Halloween. Prowl wasn't too afraid of it, but he did enjoy Kat clinging to him like nobody's business.
But yeah, if keeps the creepy superstitions out the bedroom, he's not gonna complain.
No, it won't happen with Severin. I kid you not, Scarlet was planned, hence all the weird fertility rituals, but Severin just sort of happened. Not that he was a Fluke or anything. Kat just was not expecting to get pregnant again. There is some evidence to suggest that not trying to get pregnant gets you pregnant faster, so that's what sort of happened with Severin came along. Not that neither of them will complain, especially since Kat wanted to be a mother so badly she could hardly stand it. She got a daughter, and she'll have a son, so the family dynamic will be even, if that makes any sense...

Well, that's good. For Prowl's sake. And probably Kat's. She'd probably completely lose her sanity if she tried to do all that over again. XD So basically it's just, they wanted another kid, but rather than going through all that again they kinda just went with a "if it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't" mentality rather than actively trying?

Not one bit, now that all of it can be used as leverage to convince Kat that the relics are not worth it. XD
Kat didn't really lose her sanity trying to get pregnant the first time. She had logical reasons for doing what she did, but to anyone outside her brain, it probably looked insane. XD
Kinda, but Kat wasn't even convinced she could have the first child and have it stick, remember she wasn't really deemed finished when they rescued her, so she wasn't sure if her system, which was stable enough to support her spark, would be able to support another, which is why Kat goes all serious mode once she realizes she has another spark growing. Then once Scarlet is born she just kinda... forgets it is probably the best way to explain it. And then once Severin comes in, they didn't expect it but they're gonna be happy about it. I'm thinking three to five years difference between the children... leaning towards three... but five would definitely give it a shock value....

Yeah, I remember you mentioning that. But I guess once Scarlet comes along it kinda throws most of her previous concerns out the window? Granted, they'd still have to be careful and watch out due to her being techno-organic and problems that could arise whether she was finished or not.....
Hmm...yeah, somewhere between 3 to 5 years sounds right. I'd go with 4 or 5 years apart though.

When she realizes she's carrying Scarlet, she does everything in her power to make sure she carries her to term, which surprises the hell out of Prowl because he thought he'd have to kick it into high gear in order to keep Kat stable due to her bad habits. She'll think that this will be her only shot of having a child and being a mother. She'll still be concerned when she gets pregnant with Severin, but since she does have the experience now, she'll know what to look out for. She'll still be serious about it, but she'll also relax a little with the second pregnancy.
Yeah... i think 5 years apart will work...

Yeah, I have a feeling Prowl will be pretty shocked that Kat gets as serious about it as she will, considering her past habits. But it's understandable why she would be so focused on making sure Scarlet comes out okay for obvious reasons. After all, she'll have to work pretty hard just to end up carrying. I mean, you know she's dedicated when she tries to bring fertility statues into the bedroom. Yeah, at least she'll sort of know what to expect with Severin....

It's definitely not what he would be expecting, but at least he doesn't have too much to worry about. He doesn't have to worry about Kat getting into a low energy state or in a depressed state of mind. All she's gonna focus on is her baby and making sure it comes into this world as healthy as possible, nothing else will matter.

Oh yeah, it will be a rare thing to not have Kat in his sight at all times. He's gonna be watching her like a hawk, and if he feels like she's doing something to strenuous he's gonna force her to stop and sit, and he'll do it himself so that she won't be doing it. Yeah, if Prowl wasn't clingy there's something wrong. XD

Kat doesn't mind handcuffs, but when they're used to make sure she doesn't leave his side is a bit much... and completely useless considering she is being pretty damn responsible with her pregnancy. XD
