I get so sick of my poetry and especially if i get stuck in a rut, but artists.....they amaze me, being able to create beauty and create worlds of fantasy and whimsy, or whatever they want with a brushstroke......that is true art...

i belive strongly in that anything that you do can be art...the poems that you took the time to even when you were in an air port (i think thats where you were) were very touching

Actually.. the style and coloring look very Marvel-styled.. it's a good style.. and the coloring is pretty refined. It's a very good image.. altough it jumps to me the fact that her forehead seems a bit flat (in the close-up image) 
It's really a shame that the scanner didn't save more properly this piece of work.. because I can see that it must had been awesome in paper (heck it looks good from here with all those shades and crinkles

THANK YOU ...the truth is that the pic was far to BIG for the scanner so i had to take a picutre of it with a really bad digital camera....

Hmm... you could have always tried to scan the image per sections and then build it up again together?
...oh wait.. that could be rather difficult to do

Well, judging from this one image, I'd say you have pretty good talent. There might be an area or two for improving, but the overall quality and coloring job is quite there already. I don't see why anyone would think there ain't hope for your work, it can only get better with time and practice, as they say

Heh.. amazing? Me? Ya must be confusing me with someone else XP I still have much to learn and improve on when it comes to drawing. But hey, that's what dA is for.. a good place to come and appreciate the art of others, and perhaps learn a good thing or two from what we see.
Since it kinda seems like yer are new around here (well, your avatar says so at least), I should say "Welcome to DeviantArt!", and don't let the more skilled people scare you off, there will always be those better and those worse than ourselves, we just gotta learn what we can from both sides and move on ^^
