And now to comment on the DAAP itself -- amazing job! I love the visualizations -- they look very amazing and smooth. I'm excited to see some audio out there now.
Also, it would be amazing to come up with a system to embed the music into the player (as well as the information) for free -- without using Flash...mostly since most people who want to/already make music, but can't afford or just don't own Flash...? I know there's a lot of free ways to program in AS3, so I assume there's stuff to embed a sound file too...get what I mean?

I wrote in my journal that looking for such way is next thing i will be doing after releasing this as component. My first guess is to make some research on to swf format. As far as i know it is made in a way of tags. And there is collection of tags that describe items in library. I want to check if it is possible and is not that hard to take compiled swf and change music file that is inside. If so then i will make small app that does it in few clicks and no need to compile. Also i think i will try to find some apps that may be already an do this but i doubt that there are such specific aps. And of course checking if it is possible to compile this thing in some free IDE. Have any to advice may be?
Anyways in the end i want to choose some way that will be not that hard to make and not that hard to use for non Flahsers.

Looks really nice! It would be good as an offical thing, because then music could be streamed, which has a much lower barrier to entry.

It's fine to use, I wasn't worried about that... but I still don't really like how it looks. I'd prefer something like the video volume slider or something similar to how it is, but bottom-justified: [link]

Wow, really well done on this!
The interface looks great. I can imagine this embedded in a page as just the small player, and when someone clicks 'Visualisation' an ajax call makes it's space bigger as it expands in the Flash as well.
