Many people love macro or close-up flower/plants shots, so do I. There are many people who try it, and of course not so many people that make beautiful shots of it.
I really like this one. The focus is very clear and good, and I really really love the DOF! What's special about this one here is the colors I think. I don't know if you used texture or gradients, but what makes this picture very appealing is the use of such a wide color range you used.
It makes a wonderful shot!
The only thing I would have tried to change is the composition.
