Did a nightlong, Stargate/Movie/Evangelion binge at The Door's house on the holidays. Got home and decided I should try drawing some more "Anime" Anime, if that makes any sence what so ever. Basically, I wanted to try something more in line with what I consider "generic" anime characters. Something different from my usual combat jackets, boots and big arsed weaponry. This is what I came up with. Three characters that can be found in many different anime series/movies, or atleast "bog stomy robot" anime. Wo who do we have here? From left to right:-The Mech Pilot: Pretty self explanitory, she gets to drive the Big Stompy Goodness. Funky armor over a skin tight body suit, high-heel armored boots, the usual. That thing in here hand is her helmet. The hand holding it is meant to be resting against her leg. Quite like this one. Face isn't quite right, for some reason it tends to remind me of a chipmunk (the small furry thing, not the plane).
-The Office Bunny: Not really and "Office Bunny" in the true scence of the word. "Office Bunny" is a sort of derogatory term similar to "Desk Jockey", basically someone who pushes paper in the military. Anyway, she's more of a Command and Control operative, talking to the mech pilot from back at base, sending her tactical information and handing out advice. She also gives the Mech Pilot someone to have a Deep and Meaningfull with during the quiet periods. Wears her uiniform with pride, should really have a mic and earpiece. She came out okay, the gun is meant to be a SIG P250DCc, it didn't really turn out, should be bigger.
-The Scientist: Again, self explanatory. She designed and heads the team that built and maintains the Big Stompy Goodness. All brains, sort of absent minded, the intelligence only comes to an end when she has to chose clothing sizes. She also appears to be walking on a different floor plane to everyone else. Oh well, academics never do seen to be on the same level as the rest of the human race. The Scientist is probably my favorite out of these three, she came out the best. Her arm with the tablet is a bit monged, but I lilke the expression on her face, and the pose came out well.
So, which one is YOUR favorite? Or is my art that bad that the answer is NONE

Never could understand giving women high-heel boots in armor, other than as a shoe fetish. Unless the heels fit into sockets of the pedals for better bracing during those wild action scenes. Somehow "Office Bunny' doesn't fit the bill in regard to her being the C&C contact keeping track of the action on the field. Been called a "Remington Raider" (in reference to the typewriter I once pounded). Maybe "Puppet Master" would do the trick. And the Scientist appears to be 'smoking' her stylus. Does look like that one lady scientist who smoked a kiseru in that one anime I can't remember the name of.
I'll stick with the "Scientist", thank you. They have the harder job of seeing to the BSG's being put back together while thinking up ways to improve them.

you know all the really cool stompies are controled by the brain or funky hand controls which you push in really hard to make zoomy fast stompies.

I think my academic mind leads me to agree with the others on the Scientist as the best but I like the look of the Mech Pilot's armor. Although I would have thought that there would be some sort of regulation stopping her from wearing high heels in a mech. Wouldn't it make using the pedals kind of hard?
You either need to type slower or proofread your descriptions. How many times did you mispell 'sense'?

I've always been partial to the scientist because they get to make the Big Stompy Goodness (tm) better usually after the mech pilot is done destroying it ^____^

OK, I have had a real bad day in work so If I am overly crtical today I am sorry but when your manager expects you to do three jobs at once plus he has another three waiting it can just twist you all the wrong way! so here goes and again sorry ^-^
Mech Pilot - She looks pretty much your generic pilot type. Though depends what you were going for in personaility. IF you were going for the kind sympethtic pilot who helps the "rookie" out when he makes mistakes then she's on the money ^-^ But if she is the tuffened military type. You know her farther and his farther before him was in the military type peron she'd need a much more stern looking face BUT would secretly want to be a lil more lady like cause though she shouts at the rookie alot she likes him. Her face looks more manish to me ^.^ but she is quite cool and I do think that the hand does look like its resting on the hip, I think shading would have made it more obvious but thats not a "why didn't you shade" thats a sort of tip, shading does often add to perspective as you know ^-^ She is very cool.
office bunny - I think i have to say office bunny is abit of a wrong name ^-^ I know what you were going for though and again she's right on the money. She has that look about her that she is calm and collective when troubles arrise, she looks after all the pilots when there having trouble in the personal time BUT if it came down to it she could kick more ass than a man in an ass kicking contest who holds the title for most arses kicked ^-^ I love her uniform and the gun looks pretty good to me but i think her hairs a bit off... it seems to fluffy and bouncy and come on, though she would love to spend time washing her hair most of the time she's writing reports, ordering people about back at base and to top it off explaining why they used the new secret ion cannon wepon to catch fixh in the local lake >.< "i though ION stood for It's Only a Net. I didn't realise it was a laser ^.^" So i think it needs to be a tad more messy but she's cool ^-^
Scientist - I love the scientist, she's probably my favourite out the three. The clothing size comment... hmmm, still fiting into her science outift from super genius school is she *giggles* I love her look. You know she is to busy thinking about improvments to her stompy goodnesses to notice the rookie walking the other way reading all the stuff he has to and there first meeting the rookie comes face to face with her ample charms ^_~ yeah just tall enough for his face to get lost ^_^ Definatly on the money and I love her.

hope I haven't wasted your time. And there all good but the scientist has got my vote as the best just cause she is spot on ^-^ well done!

glad to of service (over the homework thingy ^-^) Well I love giving long winded comments, I love the sound of my own typing. These three characters are cool I'd LOVE to see another three. The rookie is an obvious one because as often in the case of mecha shows theres a newbie pilot who has some issues of some kind. NGE Shinji and his troubles with his father. Sakura wars. Sakura is unable to fit in with her fellow pilots plus she has self confidence issue (like most newbies)
Then i'd love to see your version of the ACTUAL office bunny. The girl who is sweet and a lil childish cause she has psent most of her life staring at a computer instead of making friends and social bonds BUT she could hack a system at anytime and yawn about it later ^-^
There is also the dark mysterious character but he can have many jobs. NGE it was sort of a flip between Gendou as you just didn't know what he was up to, to Kaji, though he wasn't so dark he was permenatly looking for something in the background. They can also sometimes be the turn coat who join the other side. What brings me to another point.
Wheres's the bad guys HMM ^-^ Your pictures are cool but often its focused on the good guys, I'd love to see you try some baddies cause in the end they are SO much more fun than good guys. In a comedy once it was said "That's the only thing I hate about being a bad guy, you have to lose" ^-^
Anyway another long winded comment sorry but I just woke up and i'm full of energy i acctually had a nice sleep! ^-^
