Description
Main character for the new Hercules comic book by Radical Publishing. Lines by paints by me.This is gonna be a great fully rendered comic and its only going for $1. It will be released during San Diego Comicon so I recommend you guys to get it once its out.
The comic is also slated to be a film by Spyglass/Universal with Peter Berg as director.

He looks like a barbarian from what Rome called barbarians. Indeed, they called ANYONE who wasn't a Roman, barbarian. This is the best picture I've seen of Hercules! Roman Legionares wore bear & Lion skins.

The Main reason why barbarians were called that was because of forreigners simply speaking a different language and natives not understanding those ... However With time it became more a negative sinonym with brute or roughian

Speaking only for myself,I thought a younger actor could have been the one who would be playing that version of Hercules.Some also feel that Dwayne''The Rock''Johnson,who is Half-Black and Half-Samoan,doesn`t look like a white person of Greek descent.Well,The Rock`s skin tone actually isn`t that much darker than Kevin Sorbo`s was,when he was playing Hercules(I think Sorbo had a spray-on tan as Hercules)and if that version of Hercules is wearing war paint and is supposed to have a darker tan,I don`t see why it couldn`t work.So,even though I would rather The Rock have played Namor(a character from Marvel Comics)or Black Adam(a Super Villain from DC Comics,who is one of the arch-foes of DC`s Character,Captain Marvel),I`m fine with Dwayne''The Rock''Johnson playing The Radical Comics version of Hercules.
Just as how to me,Christopher Reeve will always be the best live-action Superman,so too,Steve Reeves will always be the best live-action Hercules ,to me.Loved the Kevin Sorbo Series,Hercules:The Legendary Journeys(though,it started to get a little silly near the end) and I was a huge fan of it and watched it until it went off the air in 1999.The Disney Movie was a flop,from what I heard and the less said about The Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno versions,the better.The TV Series,Young Hercules,with Ryan Gosling,felt more like Gosling having a good time and using it as a stepping stone,as opposed to it being a really good show.
I`m also a big fan of the Marvel Comics-Version of Hercules.A movie adaptation of that should get made too,and someone like Joe Manganiello from True Blood would be a great choice to play him(I also thought Joe Magnaiello would have been a good choice to play the Radical Comics version of Hercules).
