Alyssa just wanted a bit of a break from her army regiment. Just a little time off to relax and not have to worry about the drills and strict schedules of military life. However, as we all have learned, wishes and wants are rarely received the way they are expected. She found herself rapidly shrinking, her thick army jacket shrinking and turning to cheap cloth. Her legs went wobbly, her arms lost muscle control as she flopped to the floor and slumped to her side. Her glass eyes peered out in a panic, what had happened?! Why couldn't she move!? She sat in the barracks for what felt like hours until she suddenly felt herself get picked up. There were muffled noises, but her eyes were locked in position and refused to swivel about to get a better view of the space.

And then... darkness. Darkness for ages... She couldn't tell time anymore, minutes and hours ran together into an endless void. She felt herself losing consciousness despite her unblinking eyes remaining ever-open. She would slip into a stasis state, completely frozen only to flop about as the space she was held in would topple and roll as the whirring and running of wheels could be faintly heard beyond her six walled prison. Then, finally, there was a flush of light, a room she didn't recognize, then a face... A young girl? She tried to speak, momentarily forgetting her current form before the little girl smiled and picked her up. The girl said something, mumbled phrases mixed into one word Alyssa recognized, "Dolly..." The word seemed foreign almost, and yet it was comforting when the child said it. She tried to escape, to influence the girl in some way, but any hope was dashed as she was sat at a plastic table with a fake tea set across from a teddy bear and another doll.

The days began to blur together, much like her time in the box (as she later learned she had been mailed to her new owner). Al_ _ sa continued to have memory lapses where she would go into a stasis or even live in the fantasies her owner built around her. Soon the yucky ol' army outfit was traded out for a pretty pink princess dress, something A_ _ _ _a's owner said fit her more better... and... and Dolly agreed. Being a big mean army sergeant was a man's job, she was just a happy little Dolly. She felt her owner pick her up again, she felt excited, it was time for the afternoon tea party with Benny Bear and Mrs. Nesbitt.
