It was the evening of Friday the 13th and a young countess was having a heated debate with a masked woman:

"I'm sorry, Miss," Lady Ombre chided, a slight tone of irritation under her voice, "But I do not sell my wares unless the moon is in hiding and the skies are dark..."

"And I'M sorry to tell you this, but a Lunar-based marketing structure just is not viable in this economy. Therefore, I am doing you a favor by demanding you sell me your wares. I'm willing to buy out your entire stock, right now," The Countess, Winifred Pale, was certainly not used to not getting her way, let alone having to argue to give someone money.

"The items have not been chosen. Until the New Moon is upon us, the magicks are much more volatile and-" Lady Ombre began but Winifred, no longer interested in the argument, grabbed what she could and dashed off leaving a trail of Underbucks. The Lunar Vendor sighed as the items restocked instantly, "Poor Little Fool..."

As Winifred made her escape, the items seemed to vibrate a bit. For some reason, the young vampire felt the urge to go to the Underborough High Homecoming game and cheer on the Screaming Ninnies with some of the poetry that was filling her head. Oddly enough, the poems wouldn't go on to inspire the team... In fact, one or two had to leave the field on grounds of DEEPLY INSTILLED Nihilism.

A quick birthday gift for my ol' pal
I always enjoy drawing his girls in situations that could've been easily avoided, but instead have led to various transformations. Here we see why the New Moon Sale has a "One Item per Customer" rule. When the Magicks of the items intermingle, the changes can merge into unforeseen outcomes. Luckily, Winifred grabbed two items that merge a touch easier than others may, despite causing her Cheers to be less than peppy.

Winifred Pale belongs to no one, but talk to Mr. DNA about booking appearances.
