Well, in the elementary I used to visit the lyceum church almost everyday during the breaks.

I love how ultra smooth, and flawlessly crisp and clean everything looks inside of this grand structure!

It was so pretty. Sadly I had to run in and out! I missed a service the morning before--they are huge with singing in that particular church. Huge participation!Β
This history is actually pretty interesting. Korea was well known for its mix of religions as it is today. It's gone through the original spirituality in Shamanism to Buddhism then Chinese Daoism (which had a lot of social laws etc and cast systems) Confucianism and then Christianity. Each one still has a presence in Korea today and many people practice multiple religions--they really exist in a harmony and people pick what they like of each or just do it all. Christianity is practiced by around 60 percent of the population in South Korea. What I think is the coolest is that the first religion, Shamanism is still very prevalent too but unlike the other religions, it is not publicly recognized by the government and every head of religion has a representative in the government. It's so cool!! (history facts vomit sorry haha x) )Β
