Hey guys!This is what I have been spending my time working on lately~ a full page fantasy series with many editions!
Please
The main purpose of these is to practice people, scenes, details porportions and the thing I like to do is to see how many angles I can approach said drawing at. How much of the scenery I can expose. For example, as you can see here, I wanted to show above and below the bridge showing both sides of the situation and those involved while keeping it as a single picture. A lot more fun then a straight on view of the bridge!
I hope you all enjoy these and continue to look out for them because I have many more that I have yet to post and that I am presently working on~ have fun!
No references were used
I used chalk pastels, Copic Markers, Pro Markers and prismacolor color pencils.

Really pretty illustration, it feels like a page in a childrens book.
The idea of showing the different sides of the bridge is quite interesting, though I think, the diffence could be more clear if you make everything beneath the bridge darker or slightly desaturated - you know, just less bright than the stuff on top. Love the pose and colours of the horse (just maybe look at refences for the hind legs, cause they`re a bit different.
I like how you shaded all of the stones of the brigde and the people in the dungeon/canal system/whatever-it

This piece (along with 3 others in this series) I drew maybe 5 or 4 years ago when I was camping up in the mountains for a week. As much as I absolutely adore these, I do cringe when I look at my free hand (cough cough horse's legs
I'm currently working on two new pieces of this series. I have a bunch of really old ones that I never lined or colored in so I am slowly working on completely redrawing them at the moment. I think you will like them a lot!

There is something... rather scary about this image...

Congratulations on doing a full color illustration! Not a lot of young artists push themselves this far, and it clear you challenged yourself. I love the comic strip elements to this like the music notes and "Help!" signal.
I do recommend studying horse anatomy a little. In this piece I can't help but think that the prince is riding a anthro-horse because of the way the back leg is shaped

I love that composition.
You have a really charming trace and I like a lot how you draw your characters minor details, like the prince's hair and face. The color scheme here is quite nice and I like how you mix different coloring materials and specially how you do shading... it looks so ggod. I've read that your intent was to work with angles in a way that you could show two different situations at the same time, and in fact, this piece does tell a story. It looks like a illustration to some story book - I look at this and I wonder: what will the prince do now? Is he going to continue on his way or will he try to save those people?
Not only your trace is very particular but also your manner of doing perspective and anatomy...
If I may give you some constructivism, I want to talk about that troll (is that a troll? I don't know). I'm guessing that the green monster is meant to look scary and threatening, but his face doesn't transmit it too well. His expression is kind of undefined and I think that happens because of his eyes. I don't know if the black traces above them are meant to represent eyebrows, but that's the impression I do get and it influences the way I do read his facial expression. In that case, to represent fury, eyebrows usually do contract like the angry example on this one (and in your drawing, his brows look more like he's surprised or something). Also, about his body anatomy, his right arm looks a bit too long and big compared to the other one, maybe you could try taking measures of these body parts so they won't look accidentally asymmetrical
However, I'm just writing these things I consider to be tips because I'm too used to do that... as I said, your piece is full of details and I pay attention to every single thing
Overall I like it a lot... please do more complex compositions like this, I think you definitively could make a career illustrating books or something like that

I really do really respect that because that is a big reason that I am on here is to get pointers on my drawings so I can improve and realize what I am doing wrong- For the troll, I honestly wasn't too sure what to do with him. I didn't know if I wanted him angry or surprised. It was a while ago but I do believe that I wanted to draw him surprised because of someone being on the bridge but then I think its what the mouth did with looking mean that through it off... I drew him surprised and kinda just left it there because I didn't know what i want haha so thank you, I really need to pay attention to that
