You huffed lightly, trying to get warm under a mountain of blankets. Letting out a sigh of a content, finally getting cozy. . . Until someone knocked on your front door. Groaning inwardly, you got up and away from your comfort space, and went to go answer it. You opened the door, revealing Kankri Vantas, the trigger happy troll, all bundled up for the snowstorm that was taking place outside.
"Oh, hello [y/n]. I'm sorry for suddenly showing up at your hive, as it is possibly triggering to you. But may I ask, would you be all right if I stayed here? #tw #sudden appearence" Your eyes widened as he asked this, your flushcrush Kankri Vantas was asking you if he could stay over? You were so tempted to just shout 'Hell yes!' but refrained from doing so. Instead yo just slightly nodded and stepped aside for him to enter. You felt just a tad bit awkward, since you were wearing a huge red sweater because of Kanny, and some shorts that were slightly hidden. "Trigger warning, bare legs. . ." Muttering under your breath, and attempted to pull down your sweater a little more, but of course the troll heard you, and 'accidentally' saw.
"Uhm. . . Excuse me Kankri, I'll be right back, I'm gonna change into something more appropriate. . . You can wait on the couch if you'd like." You walked off into your room, and didn't notice that the troll was blushing bright red. After a bit, you came back wearing the same sweater, and some fuzzy pants. You found Kankri hiding under all the blankets, with just his eyes peeking out. Letting out a light giggle, the troll jumped and looked over at you, and was about to start another one of his lectures. Not that you didn't like them, you loved to listen to his voice, but sometimes they can get a little annoying. You waved your hand slightly, with a smile on your face, and said a cheerful 'sorry'. Walking over to the couch and sitting next to him, you felt a little awkward since he had took all the blankets. He saw this, and with a light blush on his face, he lifted one end of the blankets, offering you to share with him. You froze for a second, all the blood rushing to your cheeks, before you smiled and scooted closer to him, but not too close, since you knew he liked his space.
"So. . . What do you wanna do? We could watch movies, and drink hot chocolate if you want." He looked over at you, curiousity in his blank eyes. Obviously, he didn't know what this hot chocolate was. You grinned widely, and got up to go make your famous hot chocolate for the clueless troll. You entered the kitchen, and took out two mugs, one with a bright red cancer sign on it, and one with a lace design all over it. Working your magic, you came back to the living room and turned on the movie you were going to watch, and handed the mug to Kankri. "Be careful, it's hot, don't want to burn your tounge ~" You warned him, as he carefully sniffed the beverage, and with a smile on his face, he took a small sip. His eyes widening, he exclaimed, "Why, this tastes amazing ! I never knew human beverages would taste so good! #tw #new addiction #may want more later" You giggled and got under the blanket with him, being creful not to spill the hot chocolate, and started watching the movie.
Not known to you, but Kankri has been staring at you the entire time, watching your facial expressions, lighty chuckling whenever you grimaced at seeing the bad guy. He set the mug down on the coffee table in front of you two, and you looked over at him, surprised to see him with a serious expression.
"[y/n], I have something to tell you. #tw #confession #possible rejection #hoping to stay friends if so" You gasped lightly once you heard his little trigger warnings, and you sat up, putting your mug down as well. "[y/n] I have felt flushed for you ever since the day we first met. I was so afraid that you would someday leave me, because of how triggering I can be with my lectures. But I saw that you were different, you cared enough to stay with me all this time. What I'm trying to say is. . . I'm hoping to stay together forever, as matesprites. . ." He shyly looked at you, bright red blush painting his cheeks. You were in shock, you never thought this day was going to happen, and here it did, right in your home. Starting to cry a little, you hugged him tightly, hiding your face in his sweater covered chest.

"Of course Kankri ! I'd love to be your matesprite~"

"Flushed for you, [y/n]"
