You hopped up and down in one place, barely able to keep your excitement. After all, you were about to meet your internet best friend, and was going to live with him for a while. You had once been on webcam with him, if only for a few seconds since you had to go, but you remembered what he looked like. Standing on your tip toes to look over the people who were taller, you finally saw the cool kid you knew and loved. Letting out a squeal of excitement, you rushed over to him, suitcase in hand, and attack him with a hug. "Hi Davey ~ !" you excliamed, giggling slightly.

"Woah, fuck [y/n]. Don't call me that. It ain't cool." Though he tried to sound stern, he was failing, especially since he was chuckling slightly. You grinned, and shrugged, getting off him. "Sorry. . . Davey ~" He frowned for just a second, but then regained his pokerface. Grabbing your hand, he led you to the car, and offered you to take a seat by opening the door for you. You blushed slightly, smiling, and got in putting your suitcase in the back. He followed suit, entering in the drivers seat and taking off. You twiddled with your thumbs, before deciding to break the silence. "So, what's your apartment like~? " To your disappointment, he just shrugged and said "You'll see." Pouting slightly, you asked him another question. "Where's your all-famous bro?" And again, he kept his answer short. "He went to go visit family or some shit." You huffed slightly, and sank in your seat, deciding to just keep quiet.

Finally, the both of you got to his apartment, and emptied out of the car and into said apartment. It was just as messy as you imagined it to be, smuppets covering every surface there was, as well as a few katanas laying around. "This is my room, don't come in unless I say so, and definately don't go into Bro's room, I don't know whatever the hell is in there and I don't want to. Here's your room." Dave stated as he showed you around the small apartment space. You smiled at him as you went into the room, and started unpacking.

A loooooooong while later. . .

You sighed in frustration. Dave was ignoring you the entire time you were there! What was the point of inviting you to stay over anyway? You plopped down on the couch, crossing your arms over chest in agitation. Suddenly, you felt a hand on your shoulder, causing you to jump and look behind you, seeing none other than the Strider himself. "Yo [y/n], I have something to show you." You furrowed your eyebrows, and just shrugged, getting up. No bother in yelling at him. He led you into his room, which of course had the necessities, and his turntables. Patting his bed, he went to go get something. You obeyed and sat on his bed, waiting. Finally, he came out with a pair of headphones, and a CD marked 'a ironic thing for [y/n]'. He set everything up, and gave you the headphones, which you put on, and he started the song. The song was your favorite, "Candy Store" by Faber Drive, only Dave seemed to have cover it and mixed it.

After the song ended, you slowly took off your headphones. "D-Dave I--" you never finished your sentence, since the Strider locked his lips with yours, pulling you closer once you kissed back. You both slowly pulled away due to lack of air, you staring wide eyed at him, and him having a gentle smile. "[y/n], I've loved you for the longest fucking time ever, since we first started talking. I just want to ask you something. . . Will you be my girlfriend?" You tried to refrain your crying after he had confessed, and quickly kissed him, nodding quickly.

"Yes! Of course I will be!"

"Thank you, [y/n]. . ."
